Even with the Rats 2nd stringers, remember our O is still made up of mostly 2nd, 3rd and even 4th stringers. So, we will still struggle to score and win this game, if we win it at all. And, the **** rested Henry this past week. Texans starters or not, he puts up over 150 rushing and they win by more than a TD.
 
Well hopefully we end on a high note. If I'm the rats I'd fire zone blitz every down of offensive possession we have.
 
The Ravens will still win.

Who outside of Conner is hurt? Rudolph and Duck go back and forth from 1st to 2nd string. How do you get mostly 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers on offense?

Ravens Will Rest Lamar Jackson, Other Starters vs. Steelers

We won’t see Lamar Jackson in action again until the playoffs.

Head Coach John Harbaugh announced Monday that Jackson, Marshal Yanda, Earl Thomas III, Mark Ingram and Brandon Williams won’t play during Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Ravens have locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and will use the final regular season game to rest key veterans as they prepare for the postseason.

Harbaugh made it clear the Ravens would still play to win, but with a different lineup. The Ravens can’t rest all their starters because they don’t have enough backups on the roster, but even those who do suit up may not go the entire game. Playing time will be determined on a case-by-case basis, Harbaugh said.

“It will be an opportunity for some guys to play who have been inactive,” Harbaugh said. “It’s a rivalry game. It’s the Steelers."

Trace McSorley figures to get the first regular-season action of his NFL career against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the Baltimore Ravens having already locked up the AFC’s No. 1 seed in the playoffs, coach John Harbaugh said they will rest several starters – including MVP candidate quarterback Lamar Jackson.

And while veteran Robert Griffin III will start for the Ravens on Sunday against the Steelers, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he expects to also see McSorley.

Have you not been watching all year? Duck is our 3rd string QB. Pouncey is out. JuJu is barely 75%, if he even plays. Our team has been the walking wounded and backups all year. That is why it is so laughable when so many on here are bitching about how we are playing right now. Sitting at 1-4, most teams would have ended up with 4 or 5 wins, at most.
 
I hate late games, messes up my morning gameday drunk schedule, because I watch EVERY game
 
We lost to Ryan Mallet led Ravens because Tomlin was afraid to open the offense up.

2nd stringers: Rudolph, Samuels, Alualu, DJ, Vannett
3rd Stringers: Duck, Snell, Caín, Whyte, Holton

Have you not seen the rest of the league. Everyone is hurt. Pouncey just got hurt. JuJu is playing. No one is 100% this time of year. So 1 player is out and that means our O consists of 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers? Because of a missing Pouncey and still playing hurt JuJu?

The reason they wree 1-4 is because they played SF, Seattle, NE and Baltimore. They got beat by NE with an all healthy team including Ben. They were losing to Seattle when Ben got hurt. They've beaten one team over .500 this year and that is the 8-7 Rams. That's it. If they were playing a 1st place schedule they wouldn't be 8-7.

The only true injury they have had is Ben. Conner is always hurt. JuJu missed 5 games but he hasn't done anything since the Miami game anyway. Pouncey is hurt but they are playing a team that is resting all of their star players so I don't see the issue.

This isn't the only hurt team. Most teams have lost players. Some have hurt IR lists longer than the Steelers. People need to realize that the Steelers have been healthy for years compared to other teams. Look around the league and stop being so myopic.

Nobody just plays there starters all the time. Rudolph sucked and they brought in Duck. Then he sucked and they went back to Rudolph. Snell backs up Samuels. Again the starting offense is not full of 2nd - 4th stringers. There isn't even a 4th on your list. Most of those guys you listed are depth at the same position. DJ, JuJu and Washington all started against the Jets. They aren't 2nd string players. That's like listing 2 CBs and putting one as the 2nd string. Also he said OFFENSE. So not sure why you added Alualu.

Right now if Conner can't go you'll have a 2nd string RB, a 2nd string Center and a 2nd string TE. That's it. 3 players. Two of which are always hurt. Conner and McDonald. 3 players NOT most of the offense made up of 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers.

I'm just talking in general, is not the same to have a longer list of injuries when it doesn't take their best players off the field. Losing the #1 QB (HoF level kind of QB), WR (Juju most of the season), RB (Conner same as juju) is the core of any Offense as they are all skill players, add Vance McDonald there and you have all skill positions on O injured

We just need for this season to end. This is not a playoff team. I don’t want a Devlin Hodges led team in the playoffs and we get embarrassed. If we end up 8-8 that’s ok considering all that’s happened this season. Let’s regroup and get Ben back and make some positive additions and let Hodges get on with his life’s work. Try and bring on a veteran QB plus Mason will have a year of experience and expect improvement from him next season.
Please, abandon these playoff thoughts since the Titans are a much better fit than we are at this point.

I hate waiting so long for each season to start. I damn sure would welcome a playoff game. I don't live in my fears for the outcomes. It is what it is.

So you can feel **** if that's your desire but for the best feel, feel us STEELERS fans / team / imaginary cheer leaders / into the playoffs. If you're still with me here, just don't get off until the play offs.
