Their defense is finding its groove. Gotta find a way to hold them off. One advantage of Ravens in the tournament is they are Patriot killers. Two with Jacksonville who I think will be a very scary matchup for NE.
Tony Romo just correctly identified issue for Steelers. They have a complete defense and team but Brady feasts on the zone blitz. He moves guys off their zone with his eyes.

JAX is pittsburgh killers. I would rather not play either team in the playoffs

The Ravens pretty much have a wildcard locked up. Their D is definitely looking scary good again.

We need to play some good football in this next stretch and go into the playoffs hot.

They look to be ascending, but they probably lost Jimmy Smith, their best DB, for the season.

Jax and the Ravens would be tough outs for the Steelers but they have done better against those types of bully teams without a star qb in the past. I think those two teams would be serious trouble for NE. I think the Steelers have the right personnel against the Pats but they will play within their character and get lit. My only hope is that after the first game a respected defender like Heyward will step up and tell Tomlin. Coach, lets bracket Gronk with TJ/Dupree and Shazier. Man Hayden on Cooks. Man Davis on Amendola or Hogan, man Burns on the other and Hilton on whoever is left. Me, Tuitt, Gravedigger and Dupree/TJ hunt that ****** all day long coach.

And Harrison ... and bury the body where it will never be found.

**** that, parade around that body with cheater sign around neck. Open casket propped up at Heinz field wit5h torches lit beside it at night.

Salute the nation

holy **** sometimes when reading this board I cant tell if we are 9-2 or 2-9. we are the damn 9-2 Pittsburgh steelers it's the other teams that should fear us.

I don't fear the ravens.

Clearly you haven’t been watching what they are doing then.

I am very concerned about the Steelers next 3 games. They need 1 of 2 to make the pats game mean something. In AFC North ball, you could win, could lose. But 1 thing is for certain.....injury. Need one of the next 2 and must avoid significant injury or this thing can turn around fast. I’m very nervous.

The Rats D are maulers especially in the 2nd half. They've found an effective running game. Flacco did an "elite" job against the Lions but I don't think Stafford is 100% and they couldn't run the ball well. Protect Ben, spread the field and get Flacco off his game; Steelers win

Eh, I'll buy that the rats are hitting their stride when they do something against a team who is worth a ****. The last two weeks, they played a close one to a team who has no semblance of an offense because they have absolutely nothing at qb, and a Lions team who's a mess. Flaccid Flacco is "back," with his best game of the year with that whopping 270 passing yards. Hell, they had a three week stretch where they didn't score 44 points altogether. They hang 44 yesterday, and their offensive woes are all of a sudden gone? Not buying it. Their defense has beaten up on some bad teams, and pretty much abused when they played a decent offense. Of course, none of this matters when it comes to playing us; we all can expect that the rats will get up for it, especially with it being a division clinching game for one team. However, it's difficult for me to put a whole lot of stock over what the Balt-y-more Big-Mouths have done this season.

They are average. Wish we signed Eric Weddle.

Lions trend to be better in the first half of the season. They played them in their typical play like ****, second half of the season.

Have rats improved? Sure. But they aren't Juggernauts. Both teams play their A games Steelers should win.

Not that there is any gimme games outside of Cleveland, the factory of sadness the pit of misery.

Steelers trend to play solid football this time of year. I think we will see that for the most part.

Backed up with some wins as result.

Not sure how Smith will impact their D. All I know is they have been putting up crazy fantasy numbers. Tons of sacks, fumbles, int's and even TD's. Their D has definitely been carrying them.

I think it's a perfect time to place their emphasis on the Ravens with the ********* the following week. There will be no "looking ahead". Bengals, Ravens then the *********. No matter how good the Ravens may be playing, it will be a tough game for either side. If the D can make Fucco uncomfortable back there, he folds like a cheap suit. Ben needs to be Super Ben. It will be hard to run LBell. They will focus on taking him away.

Jimmy Smith gets an extra 4 weeks to recover for PED use.

Won't hurt them as he was already not playing due to injury. They should have the suspension be activated next year for the first four games as a result. They won't, but hat I would have done.
