has anything came about of the ravens covid outbreak? changing multiple games etc. much much worse than Saints and Pats who have been fined already.

No way they can avoid at least a fine if not lost draft picks. Right?.

I was wondering the SAME thing when I realized that I came across this quote from godell

"Rog" : delaying STEELERS games and such was plenty fine by the NFL.

My close friend and her brother has Covid, long time work mate and her mom have Covid. Been a rough week for my wheelhouse. Be glad when it is in our rear view mirror.

Its blatantly obvious that the league is giving the Ravens a break...

https://www.ccn.com/john-harbaugh-picking-fight-he-cant-win/

First of all niether tge Ravens nor Harbaugh were fined for his mask snafu... he actually got in the face of a ref, not just had it down briefly... the refs union flipped over this and the league just gave tgem the power to flag coaches for it... despite the established precedent of fines for the coach and team...

But the bigger thing is tge Ravens coach vocally slammed tge covid protocols here... he basically pooh poohed it publicly then his team had an outbreak that ****** over multiple teams... they got no fines for that either... teams lost picks for less... moreover they shuffled the schedule to favor them ... Immeasurable after saying they wouldn’t move games for competitive reasons and forcing denver to play with no qbs rather than delay it one day...

Its bullshit

Goodell after reading the thread subject line: "Yes, the Ravens are fine. Next question."

Quote of the Raven that is Harbaugh. This was 4 weeks before the FUBAR week of Thanksgiving.

....”I don’t think there is anybody better than us, me, or our staff, from the beginning of the game to the end of the game”....

He has more horseshite in his head than OutCoached’s opinion of himself.

If it’s not within two more weeks, some kind of penalty will assessed after the league year. There better be draft picks (that is PLURAL) taken away from that *******. If he’s even still there.

but they punished the strength coach who brought the 4 strains of the virus to the facility

Who punished him ? If it was the league then I hadn't heard anything of that nature

BUT

If it was the Ravens themselves that punishment was thaT HE HAD TO USE THE BOCK DOOR WHEN ENTERING (sorry caps) the weight room.

The NFL has fined the Baltimore Ravens $250,000 for violating COVID-19 protocols that caused an outbreak which forced multiple game postponements and around two dozen positive tests among players and personnel, according to NFL Network.

The outbreak that featured “at least four unique strains of COVID-19,” according to Ravens president Dick Cass, over the span of 10 days in November will not lead to the forfeiture of a draft pick, NFL Network said.

It is the largest outbreak among NFL teams.

On Nov. 25, the team disciplined strength and conditioning coach Steve Saunders for “conduct surrounding the recent COVID-19 cases,” which included not reporting his symptoms and failing to wear a mask or tracking device regularly, according to NFL Network.

The Ravens' outbreak forced them to postpone their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers three times, which also necessitated a postponement of their following game against the Dallas Cowboys.

This season, the NFL has fined several teams for violating the COVID-19 protocols, including the New Orleans Saints twice ($500,000, plus a draft pick for the second offense), the Las Vegas Raiders ($500,000 plus a draft pick), and the New England Patriots ($350,000). It did not punish the Denver Broncos because the team disciplined its own players and the organization was not found negligent, according to NFL Network.

The Ravens have been able to play their last two games as scheduled, and are set to host the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

Im very torn... on one hand I want to see the Browns miss the playoffs in comical fashion
On the other I want the Ravens to miss it because frankly they don’t deserve it after that mess...

The Browns should lead a riot into the league office if they miss after the ravens got their way and did not get a bad punishment.. that jets loss was totally Avoidable had they pushed it one day

The Steelers were fined 350k Tomlin 100k personally for mask violations in the 1st Ravens game. The Ravens were fined 250k for that week long shitshow followed by receiving more time to prepare for their next game so they could get L. Jackson in. If the non Steelers fan base does not see this as wrong, I really don't know what to say.

I am sure Ttits, Saints, and Raiders fans will agree.

I am equally sure that DEN, DET, and CLE will also agree after being forced to play with short staffs.

Won't matter unless the owners can get sufficient support. Does anyone here really see Deuce leading that effort or even being outspoken on the issue with other owners? Yea, me either.

Roger is like a crooked politician who is so crooked he doesn't care even how things look. The Pats cheat for a third time. Na nothing big to see. Kraft cheaps out and goes to the human traffic pleasure palace. Nothing. Ravens openly thumb their nose at protocol and create a massive schedule problem. 250k.

Doubtful for that Mad. Trace contact is a five day quarantine. None of those receivers would be eligible to return one-two days later. They still may not be eligible to play Sunday if they end up testing positive later in the week, obviously.

Rog is a crooked *******. Treating the rat's situation, which involved a number of outbreaks and game postponements, as a single infraction makes my ******* head spin.

I mean, this the same organization whose RB cold cocked a woman on an elevator and NFL only gave him 2 games. That is, until the actual video surfaced. Then the NFL said, "Well, we didn't know it was that bad." Seriously? The man dragged the out cold woman off the elevator. WTF did the Rog thing happened in there? Rog is is a money whoring tool. He only cares about revenue.
