Baltimore sends OT Orlando Brown Jr. to KC for The Chiefs 1st, 3rd and 4th picks this year and a 5th rounder 2022. Chiefs receive Brown, Ravens 2nd rounder this year and Ravens' 6th in 2022.

The Ravens expected to sign Villanueva later to avoid free agent compensation

Highsmith should destroy AV

Pending on if they sign AV and where they actually play him, Highsmith will do just fine but if it is WATTS side,,...... look out AV you are going to get fried sunny side up.

Not much bacon left in that pan of stir fry.

Cheifs get better end on this one and NO disrespect to any of the said players including AV.

Chiefs getting a Pro Bowl tackle for a first round pick and flip a third for a second. Not bad for them.
The Chiefs had to do something at OT, I think it's one of those deals where each team and fan base are pleased. Brown needs to be signed before the year's out and the Ravens need to be successful with who they pick at 31. The Ravens just love accumulating draft picks and the Chiefs aren't afraid of trading them to get what they want. Just a little surprised Baltimore was willing to deal him to the odds on favorite to win the AFC.

One more thing, the Ravens get Stanley back at left tackle, Brown insisted he was a left tackle and even if they convinced him to re sign and play RT, they would have had to pay him big time, then you need to sign Jackson and then Stanley in a couple years. Wouldn't have happened in my opinion so they got something instead of losing Brown.

Didn't the Chiefs cut two starting tackles earlier this year? I can't remeber their names.............

Just saying the chiefs need OT help.

Nasty bit of business, this trade is. Ravens have the potential to turn those two first round picks into a trade to move up. They could also grab the Edge they need and, now imagine this, take the top RB left and have a rotation of potentially two stud RBs to fit with LJ.

Edit: And, while I know they need a WR1, they've gone all in on this running offense so far. Might as well roll with it.

I don't think KC has closed the door to at least one of these guys returning to the team
Salary will be an issue

Ravens will be in good position to add a talented WR or one of the top pass rushers as well as a good RT prospect with those two picks at the bottom of the first.

If we were dicks we could call up AV and match their offer and force them to use a high pick on an ot....

and what’s this sign him later bs... honestly the ravens should lose picks for gaming the system like they do... **** roger and his butt buddy owners...

It's a good move on the Ravens part only of they can replace a young proven pro bowl tackle using one of their first round picks with someone of equal talent, which isn't guaranteed late in the first round. I don't think they gained anything here, the extra pick is cancelled out by losing an established pro bowl tackle. Villanueva is not on the same level as Brown at this point in his career if he's signed, so there's still a hole to be filled on their O'line.

Thanks Mr.

Steelers probably can't afford one of them but I do remeber they were both injured combined with salary i'm pretty sure the reasoning to say "see yaz later".
