Regardless of their injury status, the Ravens are still the best game in town. I say you hope that they stay on the short end of stick as long as possible. getting 3 games down is a serious blow to their playoff hopes. While the Bengals may be real contenders this year, we will deal with them when the time comes. I'm more comfortable putting the Steelers up against the Bengals than the Ravens. Any edge the Black and Gold can get this season is helpful and I'm not to proud to take a little help from Cinci.
While that may end up being a bit of trouble down the road, that's a battle you have to be willing to fight if you want to come out on top of the division. Let Cinci pummel the Rats and take away their heart. Then hope the Steelers can do the same to the Bengals. At the end of the day, it could just work out that Tomlin finally has a season where the Steelers manage to come out as undisputed AFC dominant winners. Admittedly perhaps that's because the Rats had some hits on their defense, but when haven't we had to deal with injuries or attrition too. That's just part of the game.
As cool-shades says, "Next Man Up." If the Ravens don't have a guy or two that can adequately fill chicklet's shoes, well, their loss is the rest of the AFC North's gain and the division is more than happy to kick the living crap out of the team that didn't have the foresight to build up some depth at a critical position.
