Who are you rooting for and why?

Bungles - many reasons.
1) I hate the Rats
2) Burry the Rats
3) Would rather not have a 4 team race
4) I hate the Rats
5) Will be fun to watch a Rats implosion
6) It will be sooo sweet to send the Rats to 0-4 on prime time

Regardless of their injury status, the Ravens are still the best game in town. I say you hope that they stay on the short end of stick as long as possible. getting 3 games down is a serious blow to their playoff hopes. While the Bengals may be real contenders this year, we will deal with them when the time comes. I'm more comfortable putting the Steelers up against the Bengals than the Ravens. Any edge the Black and Gold can get this season is helpful and I'm not to proud to take a little help from Cinci.

While that may end up being a bit of trouble down the road, that's a battle you have to be willing to fight if you want to come out on top of the division. Let Cinci pummel the Rats and take away their heart. Then hope the Steelers can do the same to the Bengals. At the end of the day, it could just work out that Tomlin finally has a season where the Steelers manage to come out as undisputed AFC dominant winners. Admittedly perhaps that's because the Rats had some hits on their defense, but when haven't we had to deal with injuries or attrition too. That's just part of the game.

As cool-shades says, "Next Man Up." If the Ravens don't have a guy or two that can adequately fill chicklet's shoes, well, their loss is the rest of the AFC North's gain and the division is more than happy to kick the living crap out of the team that didn't have the foresight to build up some depth at a critical position.

Go Andy

Get me some points Opie!

I can't believe that many people want the Bengals to be 3-0. It's got to be the Ravens to keep pace in the division.

I don't they could because Flacco sucked up all the cap money. Saw this day coming two years ago.

As long as we win, it's a win-win situation, IMO.

I can see Ravens winning but my hatred for both teams can't allow me to pull for either team.

The Bengals will collapse on their own - putting the Rats in an 0-3 hole is the best way to eliminate them from that coveted Wildcard slot

I hath spoken

And I hearth you...

I agree 100% with this line of thought - PLUS - as Wig pointed out---we swept the Bengals last season (with the shoddy defense). I anticipate we'll do the same this year and move ourselves into first place, in the division, forthwith...

I'd rather the Steelers beat the Rams.

Either scenario is a win-win for me:

Bengals win, Rats lose, Rats are 3 games out - win
Rats win, Bengals lose combined with our win, ties us in first place and a game up on the Rats. -win
Add a Browns win with the Rats win, and they're still at the bottom of the standings. - hilarious. Even if the Rats win, they lose.

My hatred for the RATS > BUNGHOLES

But...

I want the Bungles to take a loss. It's important for our divisional foes to collect as many losses as possible. Can't be having the Bungles sitting there undefeated....**** that noise.

And besides, as obnoxious as the Rats fans are, you have to admit the agony soaked tears of hope-dashed Bengals fans are just too delicious.

It's much better when they head into mid or even late season with high hopes only to see them broken like a clay jar filled with dreams, spilling like liquid youth into a filthy gutter in a dirty Thai back alley just as the itching starts...

(Language, it's a gift...)

0-0, commissioner rules that they both lose

Had to share -- did not want to create a new thread .. so I though it would fit here .. LOL
