damn, hate to hear that. fingers crossed that he dodges a bullet and doesn't miss significant time.
 
A significant left knee injury doesn't sound too good. ****.
 
hope he is fine but Finney is in contract year and he can fill in but it might skyrocket his value like hubbard

Finney is a huge Steeler fan, I have a feeling he could be easily contract persuaded to stay.
 
No he is always talking and lacks the ability to back it up. Last week he was mouthing off about how the OLinemen never fail the endurance test and of course one failed it yet again. He also failed to say that he , Pouncey and others never run the test as they are some of Tomlin's exempt guys. He is not a braggart and show off just a guy that always finds a microphone and never backs up his talk, he is mediocre at best. His career with the Steelers is probably over.

As I was saying/ after every loss Foster is running his mouth about how we have to get better refocus, etc etc etc. His play is usually responsible for our offensive failures.

Journeyman who was signed this spring.

Foster doesn't always find a microphone, the media finds him because he gives honest, well-thought out responses. Just because he's not an All Pro doesn't mean he can't have an opinion. Bad take, dude.

I like Ramon and I hate to see injuries...ever. That said, Finney is a pretty decent backup.

Huge sigh of relief from #Steelers camp. LG Ramon Foster hyperextended his knee, but did not suffer any ligament damage and will NOT need surgery. Should be out 4-5 weeks.
Remember: no Steeler has logged more snaps since 2009 than him.

must suck to be as wrong as you are in this statement.
Foster came here when we NEEDED OLs. He's helped secure our OL and is pretty ******* good. He keeps himself in shape, and you'd know this if you saw his social media posts. He makes statements, but doesn't make guarantees nor does he come across as braggadocious. You've got a short memory when it comes to Ramon. I'd strongly suggest Googling Ramon Foster / Vontaze Burfict.

The OL you refer to was, as previously said, not on roster last year, is a journeyman and was signed just recently. To lump all that in takes some wonderful ignorance.

The OLinemean was a Steeler this year and failed the test. Foster and other OLinemen did not have ro run the test and as a result his talk is nothing but noise once again. Foster is a mediocre player who talks and talks and atlks but can do nothing to change anything. You are right he is not braggadocious or make guarantees but I hate it when a player of his limited talent level is the go to guy for the media, he loves to talk.

He's team leader and senior OL player that has logged the most snaps on this team since '09. Is he the best? No. Is he a liability? No. He is a decent player and he's SMART....unlike yourself.

Sorry snowflake if I hurt your llittle feelings.

Foster is not a team leader but is mediocre and hopefully Finney uses the time to final;y remove the weakest link on our offense.

Finney started two 2016 games — and played the majority of another — as Foster’s injury replacement in addition to the season finale at center.

The Steelers are 7-0 in the games he starts, including 4-0 and averaging 31 points in games when he starts in place of Foster. According to the NFL’s official statistical service, Finney in 2017 ranked second among all Steelers offensive players in net yards over average per play (0.92) and net yards over average per rushing play (0.97).

By comparison, Foster had the worst numbers of any Steelers starter overall (0.29) and was second-worst among starters on rushing plays (-0.30).
