I guess he lifted his shirt, pounded his chest and barked at the dog before telling the handler to release it.

Dumb ****. 3rd Degree Felony.

Short of releasing the dog, they should have arrested the guy on the spot.

Was this in Pitt? Did not hear about this

Apparently it was the bomb sniffing dog that inspects all players and personnel who enter the stadium.

Not that I approve of obnoxious behavior or have any like for the Raiders player but that's Just what we need, more people thrown in jail for petty nonsense at taxpayer expense.

Excecute him

Salute the nation

If it was you or me it would be...Hell. We would be in jail. If they didn't arrest him then why are they even pursuing this now? F'n double standards.

One of Ben's big charities is providing K-9s to police departments. **** the Raidurrrs.

Screw having to pay the expenses it would take to prosecute this dumb ****.

Like Trog and Tdub said perfect opportunity for a little on the job training for Cujo.

Let him use this moron as a chew toy.

Dumbass move...but harmless.

So in Pittsburgh if you bark at a police dog you can go to jail. But if you kill dogs mike Tomlin and the steelers sign you to a contract.

Look I can't stand idiots (especially those on the Raiders) as much as anyone.. but this is ridiculous. It's annoying the **** out of me that one cent of taxpayer funds have gone to arresting and charging a guy, for a FELONY no less, for "taunting" a dog. WTF

How much is a police dog worth?

How much is a police dog worth?

A lot! Considering the training involved. I think Ben pays for some of them for the Pittsburgh cops.

I think the reason it's a 3rd degree felony for taunting one is that they consider it a weapon. Basically the same as making a move for a cops gun, or interfering with a cop when he has his gun drawn. Bad idea.

Yep, the problem is, if the officer had released the dog, the idiot would have sued the police department for brutality.

Stupid people gonna be stupid.

The issue I have with it is if I did it they would of charged me. An athlete does it and they decide to look the other way. Fine. I get it, but why after the fact is it that they want to do something about it. If they were going to do something it should of been right then and there...not hours after a football game. I'm fine that they didn't do anything ...no big deal. I just can't understand their reasoning in making a fuss about it now.
