R.I.P. John Clayton

Well, he definitely wasn't a homer. Give Myron a Double Yoi for us. RIP
 
Rip Mr Clayton… I always liked you. Turning in the Steelers for illegal practices aside, i never felt you were a homer or biased against anyone.
 
R I P John. Always thought you were knowledgeable. Good you had you wife and family by your side. Sports world lost a good one.
 
Back in the 90s, before the internet was widely available, before ANY sports information was immediately available, I used to listen to a lot of sports radio. I really looked forward to John Clayton's segments, because he gave out a ton of information on the NFL in general. He was our only link to real news, and, unlike Chris Mortenson, what Clayton said would turn out to be true.

RIP, Mr. Clayton.

I’ll always think of the ESPN commercial where Clayton is shown as a living with his mom, metal head slacker.
