Quiz Time

Nice. I figured someone who played in the CFL and returned to coach, but completely forgot about Clements.
Loved watching him play.......... Ottawa was my CFL team as a kid ..............still remember his TD to Tony Gabriel to win the Grey Cup
Coached for the Steelers and many other NFL teams .........

I saw Tom Clements play basketball in grade school and QB in high school. That guy was also great in base ball and golf. Amazing athlete. I was in a restaurant bar in Paso Robles Ca. Last year. Some woman near the bar started the here we go Steelers chant even though no football was on tv. Anyway it turned out there was at least five people in the bar area that were from Pittsburgh (bar/pittsburghbig surprise) out of maybe 12 folks. The guy and his wife sitting at a table a few feet away were two of them. Turns out the man was good friends with Clements. He played grade school basketball with him which means I saw him play as well over 55 years ago. He said “I’m surprised you don’t remember me,” we had a good laugh which required another round. Small world, Pittsburgh people and Steeler fans are everywhere and the woman who started the chant was hot and drunk at 1:30 in the afternoon lol.

Great story! Thanks for sharing

Here’s one I heard on the Fan this afternoon, a splash of cold water on the Will Howard pick.

Since Tom Brady, 47 QBs have been taken in round 6 of the NFL draft. Only one of them had a winning record as QB.

Who was he?

Matt Hasselback

Nobody has gotten it yet — here’s a hint: He attended the same university as Tom Brady.

Drew Henson?

6th round pick 2003, went 1-0 in his brief career.

Nope. Easy.

Who was born a man and wore tights and is now a woman...

The answer is not @CoolieMan

Berm, the judges are going to overrule your question and find it to be inaccurate. Your question should have been phrased, "Who is the other person born a man and wore tights and is now a woman?"

Because one such person is Coolie.

Name the HOF defensive tackle and 2 time SB winner who was born in Pittsburgh.

Randy white. Cowboys

Good question. Didn't know he was from the burgh.
Great job!
Yeah, he was born in the ‘burg but moved when was a kid.
Funny he won 2 SB’s, but the 2 he lost was to the team from the city he was born in.
