This draft class has a chance to be pretty darn solid if early indications hold true. Claypool, McFarland, Big Dot, and Highsmith have come out and excelled in limited roles with no OTA's, mini's, or actual preseason. Of course, it is early, but you can't dislike what you see. How do you see this class and how they are unfolding? What is next step up for these young talents?
OC RF - you could find many places on SN where I said I disliked his play calling. Thing is, it is more philosophical for this fan. I see a guy who tries to play a lot of chess. Keep it close in the first half, see what they are doing, then exploit the gaps. This is part of football, I get it. But I like to see a bit more "go for the gusto" or "wide open" play calling early to get the defense back on their heels a little bit. I would appreciate your thoughts as well as if you think this is an RF thing, a HCMT thing, or just the entire staff/team philosophy for the offense? Or, is it perhaps more to do with Ben's return from injury and the lack overall Offensive cohesion? If the last is the case, would you expect to see things open up more later in the season.
Name one player on each unit who has surprised you the most this year and why?
Where the **** is Waldo and why does he want to be found?
