Hey guys,

This isn't a definite yet, but we're talking with Ike and trying to set up a podcast with him.

I'd like to know his views on Mark Madden. Did the "worst draft pick ever" article motivate him?

Ike is always good for some stories too. Any good stories from the team that he hasn't shared before?
 
If they would of had those sticky grip gloves back in your era, do you think that would of helped you catch more picks?

That is when I met Ike when he was training with Shaw at WWS. Hey Ike have you ever mentioned Shaw to JuJu? Would really benefit JuJu....

The DBs were a close knit group under Coach LeBeau, what was your favorite moment with all of you (Troy, Ryan, Deshea, Will Gay, etc.) and Coach LeaBeau?

Man, next to Woodson and maybe Haden now, Ike was my favorite Steelers CB from my era of fandom... I honestly wish he hadn’t greased his hands before every game... lol but then he would have Priced himself off the team...

My question is how much is Dan Rooney missed by the franchise... it always seemed that Ike had a special relationship with him for sure... i just don’t really think his shoes will ever be filled....

2) How close were you and family growing up,......biggest mentor ?

3). With what AB put Tomlin through was there anybody Coach Cowher had in a similar fashion ?

4) Can you tell about yourself on a personal level, married / kids / (secretly working on a comeback) ?

5). I've been a lifetime STEELERS fan since 1 yr before Joe Greene came to the team, I know you have met many and all kinds of STEELERS fans. Can you relate why and how everywhere they are?

Please ask him which University is better? SWAGGIN or IKE T-SQUARED University :P

Ask him his finest moment as a Steeler?

Also ask him what he thought when Ryan Clark BLEW UP McGahee in the 2008 AFCCG.

Ask him about his relationship with Dan Rooney - He seemed to have a special bond with Dan Rooney more than other players

Ask him why Bill Cowher was so hard on Ike........I mean I remember Ike being in the dog house often under Bill Cowher.


I'd love to know the answers to those questions :)

I have two steelers DB jerseys. Troy, and Ike. It also helps my last name is Taylor as well. Which actually led to a Facebook conversation years ago with Ike.

I responded to a post with "there are two types of people in this world, Taylor's and those who wish they were Taylor's". About ten minutes later I received a private message from him, it was a short 5 min convo but still pretty cool.

Does he feel that Coach Tomlin's hiring saved his Steelers career? Seemed like he was in the Cowher Doghouse when he left and got a new slate with Tomlin.
 
Who is the best safety he's played with ASIDE from Troy? Why? What was special about that safety?
 
Who's the best defensive player he can ever remember coming to camp and getting cut? (Aside from James Harrison!)
 
How long did you do the football camps and related community service work under the Face Me Ike name, and are you still involved with the community? Did you ever reconnect years later with any of those kids?
