Q: What has made the biggest impression on you being an NFL quarterback in Pittsburgh?

A: “Just being tough. I feel like I play the game the way the fans want it to be played. When I get my nose broken in a game or I get injured, I don’t want to come out. I’ll stay in the game bloody and battered because I feel like that’s what the steelworkers would do, the tough Pittsburgh people.
“I’m from three hours from here. It’s not like I’m a West Coast kid, or Florida. I’m a Midwest guy, I’m from Pittsburgh, that’s what I am.
“I always say I want to play for the fans but I feel like they can acknowledge now after 13 years that I’m a tough son of a gun and I’m going to give it everything I have for them.”

No other QB I would rather have.

Roethlisberger is a perfect match for this team and there isn't a QB in the league that is more fun to watch.

This is Ben's team. So yes the Steelers do ride and die with him. Toughest QB in the game today. Stay healthy though, the team needs him more than ever

We all know he is the ONLY QB who could have played in the 70's era. That is testament to his toughness.Fast forward to his current era and you know he has played eight seasons of his career with argue able the worst OL in the league. It is truely amazing to see his stats as they are today. Could you imagine any other QB that could do that?? T*mmy b*y / Rodgers / breez / joeseph suckko / you name it, would all of have their careers cut short had they endured the same path. ABSOLUTELY right, Ben Rothlesberger is our QB !!!!
