PSU vs OSU

Terrific play call by Franklin with the game on the line. What was he thinking?
 
This loss is all on Franklin. Disgusting play call, clock management and scoring decisions.

I wouldn't say they deserved to lose the game. The ridiculous targeting call gave Penn State a huge momentum boost and OSU could have easily caved when going down by 12. Instead they answered and then finished the comeback with a 96-yard drive.

Franklin will NEVER coach his team to a big win......ever.

New riddle ... What's bald and loses more leads than a salesman with Alzheimer's?
 
Multiple players and coaches had to question that play call before going on the field, I mean I would have rather seen an attempt at at 75 yard FG. It had a better chance than that run.

Neither of these teams will survive a face-off with Alabama. Mail them the trophy now and cancel the rest of the season.

Bama isn’t as dominate as years past, especially defensively. LSU will be their first real test.

Hey bro, "That's why they play the game." Clemson and OSU beat them for the championship. But Tide is strong.

The last play call was insanely stupid. McSorley WAS the only reason they were even in the game. You let him drop back, and either designed run or scramble off the pass, that is your very best shot, by like 100x's over. (I know I'm not postings anything not everyone already knows.) :wink::wink:

i think they are more dominant this year. While the D may not be quite as good, Tua makes the offense much stronger. Any team can slip up, but i would be shocked if Bama loses. They only way i see them losing is if the players egos get too big.

Well that was a horrible way to blow a game again. What rocket scientist came up with that play? It had zero chance. They had no business being in that position anyway. They got real sloppy on defense. Terrible second half adjustments on the coaches as well.
 
I didn't want to post after that call last night.....too pissed. I don't care what the coaching staff might have "saw" that would make them think that would work but it was an absolutely stupid playcall. You don't run up the middle on a 4th and anything more than a half yard with the game on the line....you just don't.

This is how many times in the last couple years this staff has blown big leads in their biggest games of the year.....Southern Cal bowl game, OSU last year and this. Trash coaching when it matters.
