So yeah, I don't think Adrian Peterson is as washed up as you thought. The guy that wasted away on their bench as the 3rd string RB the first five weeks just went for 134 yards and 2 TD's today for his new team.

Sucks because I had him on my fantasy team until the week before he was traded.

AP was never a good fit in NO's offense. He's only effective when the offense runs through him on 1st and 2nd down. Much better fit in AZ.

Pssst....hey, Supersteeler:

The two guys ahead of Peterson in New Orleans had 189 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns combined....against a top ten run defense.

Was happy to see Peterson have a big F.U game like that. But, he looks like a shell of his former self. still has some burst but his lateral agility isn't even close, looks like his balance is slipping. Same thing happened to LT when he was on the Jets, still had the vision and moves but not the balance and coordination to execute.
I still think he's an upgrade over Ingram.

Sure it was just a numbers game with NO, and they felt they could get something in return. Carolina thought DeAngelo was done and that worked out well for us.

Doesn't always happen, I can remember the Cards signing Emmitt.

AP looks much much slower than he was just a few years ago. All those knee injuries are taking a toll.
He still has strength, but not anywhere near as explosive.

And the seachickens signed Franco".......................
