We now have guys making plays and JuJu isn't in there. When JuJu comes back, I hope they don't send Cain or Jones to the PS. They are making plays along with Johnson and Washington. Washington may be our No. 2 now as he and Duck seem to have a good connection.

I will give props to Holton as he is one hell of a gunner on special teams but he should never be on the field as a WR. If you want to keep him on the team, so be it but do not send Cain or Jones to the PS as someone will grab them.

Holton should be downgraded but he’s been solid on special teams

Dionte was maddening today

I would like to see more form Cain deep.

Washington has rebounded from a very poor 2nd season. He looks like a keeper now.

Cain has shown some really good downfield ability. Tevin Jones has made some good catches when the ball was thrown his way. When Juju comes back- I think he will compliment Washington and could go back to more slot routes where he’s just better at. Seems the WRs respond better to Hodges

Other than Johnson inexplicably stopping to jog out the play on that pick, they all played solid. They can help him with the stay in bounds late in the game thing.

Love it. Would also love to see some more TE action. Duck likes to roll out, TEs! Come on OC

Hodges can throw the ball more than 3 yards downfield, WRs are designed to catch balls more than 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage....

I'm personally glad for those results !

The obvious difference is Hodges isn’t staring down his receivers. MR wasn’t placing the ball in spots where his receivers could make a play. Hodges was money when he was throwing on time for the majority of his throws. He is going to give defenses something else to defend in the next couple of weeks. As I mentioned in an earlier post- both DH and MR would benefit from a good quarterback coach. I hope they get them one in the offseason

Arizona has trouble stopping TE’s

We need to use MacDonald and Vennet, and throw in Cain who’s a bigger body WR.

Dionte Johnson doesn’t seem like he’s got all his marbles.

Washington is playing with lots of confidence.

And Juju is so ready to get back in the field he’s driving 104mph

Johnny Utah would kick the **** out of Shane falco

Johnny Utah couldn’t hold my jock strap

If Hoges and Dionte can get on the same page, they're gonna wreak some havoc. That & goal scramble that Duck fumbled OOB, I thought was going to be a quick play action slant to Dionte. They had the look for it. I really thought that's where it was going. Figured Vance was going to sell the run block and open a window for DJ.

We only had 1 WR catch more than 1 pass. Washington had a great game, the other WR's not too great.

Aside from his obvious mistakes, I think Johnson has to change his open field running instincts. He keeps trying to weave through traffic instead of running to daylight. That probably served him well in the MAC, but NFL players are too fast and too good at tackling.

Hodges and Diontae almost had a big play early in the game when they finally sent Diontae (or anyone for that matter) on a quick crossing pattern. The ball was slightly tipped at the line. If it wouldn't have been, it was an easy completion and Diontae was in stride with room to run. They need to keep running those patterns like the Cheats have been successful with for 2 decades now.

AND as equally successful with the underhandedness of the cheating.

True but the crossing patterns are easy throws and typically easy completions. It's all timing and the O has the advantage the majority of the time.

Johnson did have 2 defenders beat on a long ball, but the pass was under thrown and Johnson had to slow up, allowing the defenders to make a play.
