Projected Inactive List Week 13

Yay, the Steelers are healthy. That's really good news considering only 2 steelers are ruled out. Williams should return soon, though I am worried that DHB may not see the field again this year. He has been inactive for an entire month with no prognosis or timetable to return. This may be the week DHB goes to IR and Ayers gets promoted from the PS. If that happens we will have to choose another inactive for DHB.

Make your calls, this is the biggest inactive list we've had to pick this year, with 5, and possibly 6 spots open to pick.

1. DHB Ruled out
2. D Will Ruled out
3. Zack Mettenberger 3rd QB inactive
4. Xavier Grimble Though he is healthy enough to return, he is now on the wrong side of a numbers game with Green, Johnson, and JJ ahead of him.
5. Brian Mihalik The Oline is healthy, so he would be a luxury to dress.
6. Shabazz With Thomas returning, he will take over all of his special teams duties, leaving Shabazz without a role
7. Daryl Richardson He was inactive last week, so the trend would be he would be inactive again this week. I prefer to dress 3 healthy RBs, but we rarely use the 3rd and DR has no special teams uses.

If Ayres is called up this game, I personally believe it will be because DHB's season is over. I doubt they'd call him up to replace Shabazz or Richardson on the roster, though that is possible. Shabazz would be my choice to cut if DHB is not going on the IR. So if Ayers is activated, and DHB is IRed, I would have to select between Dangerfield and Justin Gilbert. Since we already have one inactive CB, and Thomas is a returning S, I'd have to go with Dangerfield in this instance.

Think you are spot on.

I go with Shabazz cut and signed to ps. Ayers brought up in his place. Nix as emergency 3rd RB if needed.

Inactives: DHB, D Will, Mettenberger, Mihalik, Grimble, Richardson, Dangerfield.

We definately need DHB but injury is a part of the game. If Ayers is brought up then he needs to MAKE the most of the oppertunity.

Looks like Boz is going to be inactive now too. Shabazz is gone, and he was the most expendable on the roster (until DWill comes back and makes Richardson expendable).

One of the kickers will now be in Shabazz's inactive slot. And as of today, I have to go with Boswell being the kicker out.

There is an interesting possibility for an inactive. Now that we 5 OLBs, one of them may be inactive and Richardson would play. If they chose to sit a LB, it will be Jarvis. His time is done in Pittsburgh.

Think the Boswell injury may cost Ayers his shot to come up giving the spot to Bullock

D Will, DHB, Boz, Mettenberger, Mihalik, Richardson, Grimble likely the inactives.

If LB inactive I highly doubt it will be JJ, Fort would be the inactive. Maybe they cut Fort again bring up Ayers and go that route if they really want to get a look at Ayers.

I would like to see the NFL do two changes.

1 Do away with the inactive list.
2 Do away with the PS, With having 60 on each roster
