Probably not what you want to hear - Conner still in protocol.

I watched the highlights also and think it may have happened in the first quarter when he scored. He took a shot to the head as he got into the endzone. When he spiked the ball, it came loose as if he didn't have a good grip. I thought maybe the head shot caused it. Either way, he is ready to rock against the Jags.

Conner is clear of protocol and not on the injury report for this game.

I think it was 3rd quarter, he ran to our left, didn't gain much, looked like the defender went helmet to helmet, the announcers didn't say much, but it wasn't long after that he went in the tent, I think he left the game after that play

It was sneaky and easy to miss. I didn't even notice when it happened.

Maybe him missing carries will help him be extra fresh for this game.

I'm hoping so. They were already limiting his carries on the short week with Ridley and Samuels, long before he left with a concussion. I hope they continue to Conner some rests here and there. Both of the other RBs have proven they can be effective.

I don't have a lot of confidence in Ridley. But I know he has the experience.

I'm with you there, and I prefer Samuels diversity. Samuels is the best pass catcher we have out of the backfield. He was averaging 65 catches for 3 years as the slot/scat back in college, when he started.

I was floored that he could pass protect. He never did it in college. But he's recognizing the blitzer and getting across the field to make stops. Love this guy's potential, and he's a great long term #2. Would love to see him get some of those Switzer plays to see what he can do. Would also like to see him in the slot with Conner in the backfield. Conner fakes the handoff left, and Samuels comes around on a jet sweep. He made a living doing that in college. Plus if we need a Wildcat QB, he's the guy! Good at that in college as well.

Ridley is a safe backup who can carry the load if needed.
