If the players are good enough to be on a professional roster, they are good enough to rank higher than that,.....unless poorly coached. If it's scheme, fix it in-season, if it's poor punter / kicker, fix it in-season. Standing on the sidelines, all theatrical, with a thumb poked up your *** to far...... Is ******* moronic and only a moron would retain his services another year.

How Danny Boy is still here is truly amazing. I wonder if Tomlin just hasn’t had his sit down with him yet. If it goes anything like the review Tomlin had with Butler then we’re screwed.
According to Jeremy Fowler, Tomlin and Butler had a very productive interview. Looks like he’s staying.

The only thing we did well on ST was block kicks and get turnovers. our coverage teams rocked in Sept, but started to suck in October and marginally improved from that low throughout the year. Return teams did zilch, but at least there were no turnovers, and only 1 or 2 muffs.

No errant snaps, no botched placements, just the kickers. Berry early in the year, and Boz all year...

I hope the productive interview went something like this:

B: you know Mike? I think is time that you let me do what I'm payed for before they fire our ***** in the middle of the season.

T: but the Tampa 2 is great and we are almost there, the 2 DL project is about to unleash hell on opposing D's, I just can feel it, like I feel when is the correct time to throw a flag. Let's not worry with what fans think and things of that nature.

B: enough is enough boss, you are like the John Snow of defense, you know nothing, and is time for you to step aside on that part of the playbook, trust me.

T: ok, I will give you free reign over blitzburgh for the first couple of weeks, we won't leave any stones unturned.
