5 ****** turnovers two in plus territory. Mortgage the future for defense yet they cannot close out. Most sought after job in pro sports for security. You gotta do better than this. You virtually have every player as first round talent. At least 7 are legit. Go get a real defensive coach and find out what happens.

Many of us have said these days were coming under Mike and they are here.

6 years to build a D
9 number one picks on our D now
We’ve had a top 5 top 10 offense for several years before this one
We’ve lost a few chances at a Super Bowl because of our D
Tomlin is a D coordinator
And tomlin and Butler have wanted full control of this D for years and years
They’ve had full control now for several years and we absolutely suck

Please let’s just thank the Guy And let him go. He’s completely ruined this organization
Mike munch and Big Ben Are the only reasons we’ve been competitive in the past 4 years or so
And Ben is the only reason mike is still in the league

He would make a phenomenal coach for VA Tech And could recruit the hell out of those kids from his old stomping ground. He has the speeches and the lingo to be one hell of a college coach and recruiter as he’s a great bill ****
Artist. However is not a great NFL coach

Let’s fire this guy and move on. Personally I think we are headed for years and years of awful teams unless something is done quickly.

True but really only 2 were created by the D
And they ran the ball right down our throat
 
And 2 turnovers we got placed us inside our own 20 because the 9ers has ran it down our throat and we couldn’t stop them
 
Reality. You put together what should be a monster defense but in the end you cant even force a field goal to tie. You cut 30 seconds from your offense cause you think you will somehow hold. Two weeks in a row gang busters defense out of the gate. The other team adjusts in the second half. That is called coaching.

It's ALL on the complete absence of coaching. There is no other explanation. But management will NEVER admit they own this mess. 'Pride goeth before destruction', if you will.
 
30 minute men, in a 60 minute game. Sometimes I wonder if ol Cool Shades knows how long the game is.
 
hire munchak as head coach. instill a ball controlled offense. get rex ryan as def coord. move on in life....
 
This team is stuck for the year, as there is NO ONE whom I can see as an interim coach on the payroll. I just don’t think you can bring in someone from outside during the season either. The time for the change was last December, and you can bet it won’t happen this December, either
 
When the one WR on 49ers dropped that pass downfield with possibility of them challenging it, Tomlin calls a timeout for some bizarre reason. I'm convinced he thought that Haden picked up the ball and he was thinking about challenging the recovery of the ball. In reality, the 49ers WR just picked the ball up so we never recovered it anyhow.. my point is, I really don't think Tomlin pays attention to much of anything football related during the game. He should be embarrassed.

Definitely...He's thinking its a catch and fumble, best part, it gave the 49ers time to see if it was a catch! Which in this NFL, those refs could have called it that way after slowing it down
Just another horrible coaching decision, yet the media will never question him, too scared, too stupid
 
Speaking of Steelers fans man they are coming out of the cracks in bunches like ants. 0 and 3 posting like their hair is on fire. Be sure to stick around for when the team turns it around. Regardless if that is this season,next, or a few seasons down the road. As in don't be afraid to post when things are going good. Obviously this doesn't apply to everyfan. But if it offends you the shoe might fit.

After the defensive holding there was essentially 2 minutes left. You have two timeouts left. You call timeout on first down. If they don't score you call another on second. Cause after third down they score and the time stops or they are kicking field goal to tie. That leaves the maximum amount of time if they score probably would have been 1 min 45 seconds the way it worked out. Then at least you have control. You can go out of bounds. You can spike it. He has zero feel for in game management. So ask yourself again. What exactly does he do.

I think the Super Bowl and the second appearance are really abirations based upon the drafting of Colbert and Cowher. I also think holdovers like Lebeau and BA knew what they were doing. Now BA would have gotten Ben killed but he could get a lot out of Ben. If I don't possibly believe Tomlin can get it done I honestly believe it is every fans duty to say it as loudly as they can. The sooner he is done the sooner this franchise can get back to where it should be.

I have wanted a x and o coach for some time. I just hope the Steelers get one with the next HC whenever that may be.

No question Slash. It cannot be soon enough for me. Like the retention of Bud Dupree I'm left scratching my head as to why any football person would think Tomlin deserved an extension this summer.
 
I have no idea why all the up roar Tomlin told us all at his post game speech the team will be ready next week. Why oh why is Tomlin still on the sidelines. Not only do we have no star power but no imagination at all. The turn overs in first quarter alone if we would have scored TD's may have been the end of SF. No reality SF could have been up 21-0 without them shooting themselves in the foot. Our secondary is just bad to many open receivers, they ran through our line as if we were not out there, Tackling as usual in so inconsistent. ON and on and on not even talking out the receivers that cannot get open, never come back to a QB that was under pressure all day. What exactly did they practice to help Mason. Did we even use the FB or did Samuels even play, I was at a sports bar so could not hear if they are injured, Tomlin sends in Snell two runs up the middle which did not work all game. Something needs to shake this team up. Tomlin continues to just stand and stare where does he coach, they never show him on TV ever getting into someone face or going to either the defense or offense players to try to motivate . It is getting old especially if you happen to watch any other games, we truly are non existent. We ranked up to yesterday 29th on defense, that will never work.
 
All those premium picks used on defense. You rank 29th on defense after three weeks. What does that tell you?
 
Here's what confuses me.

You watch the game and it seems as though whomever we play has WRs just sort of cruising through the middle of the field with at least a yard or two of separation on every defensive player around them. I mean literally, it looks more often than not like 'pitch and catch' for opposing QBs and receivers.

Then you look at the Steeler's offense and it seems like they have run conjoined twins out there in patterns, the ******* DBs and even LBs are plastered on Steeler receivers like they're joined at the ******* hip.

How hard is it to get a ******* guy open? I mean seriously?

And the line? Jesus, the line!
 
We can't run or stop the run...therefore our defensive coaches, coordinators and HC are to blame. We miss Munch and Fichtner has little imagination...seems to me anyway.
