Preseason: Steelers and Titans game

Hunter is too inconsistent for this many years in the league. Running wrong routes. Catches a nice TD. Fumbles the ball. Etc.

I’m not sold on Hunter. I’d like to see more of Griffey, Patterson and Tucker. Let’s see the young guys. Tucker is just a guy. Nothing to see there.

It will be nice to see what our D front can do once Watt is back and up to speed. Sucks he's missed all of camp.

I'm confident Watt will be fine. Dupree looked ok today. He needs to stay consistent as well as the inside backers.

Hunter is way better than Griffey. Tucker is a slot man. Patterson can play the x or slot, and I do like what he offers.

Connor is serviceable and yeah he can catch. I don't think he is going to be as good as we need him to be. Sometimes you have to make things happen even if the line isn't doing their job. He doesn't seem that type of back to make things happen on his own.

Time wise, that is the right TO for those of you confused with clock management.

Got a score at the and of the half with no chance for the other team to score. Clock management!!!!

Just not a fan of Hunter. What’s this now his fourth team and he still hasn’t established himself. After being a 2nd round pick of the Bills I’d say not come anywhere near expectations. I’d like to see more of The young guys, Griffey, Patterson and even Tucker.

About right on Conner/

OL, Ben, and Hunter looked good.

D looked better, but the Titans offense looks terrible.

Special teams, a bit better

We can disagree. What I see in Hunter is a big, fast WR who runs good routes and high points the ball well and catches the ball with his hands. He's starter capable, and is not a big gap between him and Washington

I actually really like Griffey as well. More than Jones. His athleticism is off the charts. Has size and speed, but he is very raw. His route running and position flexibility is not near what Hunter brings to the team. To me he's a PS player, and I think he will be put on the PS. In the future, I think he has the potential to be better than Hunter, but it will take time and more than this year to surpass him.

Titans going with new offense so most likely one of the reasons they look sluggish. Not taking anything away from Steeler defense though, they looked good.

I’m with ya Cope. What worries me with Hunter is the fact he seems to do well in the pre season but disappears in the regular season. I will say though, that was a really nice play he made on the TD throw from Ben. Great foot work on his part.

The first team D is still on the field. I guess they need a little more work?

I've never understood why people say he 'disappears' in the regular season. He was only active for half of the games. He got one start against Houston and got a TD. The rest of the time when he was active, he was backing up Bryant, and didn't get on the field much. So I suppose, he disappeared due to his spot in the depth chart, and how we activated him. Dude has skill though.
