Preseason game at Lambeau

I've never been 100% sold on Butler as DC. Tonight reminds me of that.
 
34pts in the first half? Looks like the O needs to put up 80 to win...

If the Steeler playoff loss against Bortles didn't teach you anything....this 3-4 legacy defense is hot garbage. Somehow, the mighty Steelers org are way too stubborn to learn.

This is fast becoming one of those stinker games you throw in the bin. Too bad, we're all investing precious time watching this game.

Tomlin has more to do with this Defense than Butler. It has his fingerprints all over it and he has completely destroyed it in three short years!

Wow, Rudolph's game 2 is in the bag and it's terrible. Dobbs should have a better game in the second half.
 
Jesus people. It is the second game of preseason and your judging this **** like it was the playoffs. I have seen some good individual things and a lot of poor team issues that have more to do with this being an exhibition and not a cohesive unit on the field but a bunch of guys trying to make a name.

Cope, we gotta move past Shazier. In fact, it's well past that point, as far as figuring out the D for this season. All they did was bring Bostic in, no rookies drafted, etc. Not sure why they've whiffed on solidifying the middle of this D. Maybe Colbert's praying for a last second FA signing....or a trade is up his sleeve. Seemingly something needs to be done asap, but it seems too late at this point.

So, once again, it’s an assistant coach’s fault? At what point will the head guy be held accountable?
 
GB had a lot of their first units in early and got the momentum that just carried on.

It's not even close to our starting D. Watt isn't playing, Heyward isn't playing, Haden isn't playing, Davis isn't playing.

It's not like he's getting much help from this paper bag offensive line. Not a single starter on the line, in fact I'd wager 3 of the 5 don't make the final 53. They also took JuJu out after the second drive, Conner as well. His WR's are Hunter, Washington, and Patterson. With Hunter being the #1. Quit acting like he should already be in pro bowl form in his second preseason game.

Ok, we played half the year without Shazier last year and we saw what the D looked like without him. It's not like they had this grand plan to replace Shazier because he was on his way out or anything. It was a freak accident that no one saw coming. You act like the draft was loaded with players easily able to step in and take over for him. Who would you have brought in that would be guaranteed to be better than what they were able to bring in? Keep in mind, Bell is holding us captive with that $14m cap hit...

I'm not watching this evening only reading this thread. It's pretty much how I figured. These new bullshit helmet rules will have the entire fan base of all teams in meltdown in a few short weeks. We tackle like ****. That's **** they should have learned 15-20 years ago. If the HC refuses to change then this team will fail again.
