Pregame Green Bay vs Steelers

The NFL script "Rodgers down on the field"

I’d actually like to see Aaa-Ron win this one as a then he’d join the 5 to win against all 32 teams in the NFL.

It would be noice to see him achieve that as a STEELERS player.

This may be true but for context
Green Bay has 1 quality win against the lions. Arguably good win against the Flacco led Bengals, thats it.
You think the Steelers would beat the Lions?
They have a better defense than offense, the offense is Josh Jacobs. Stop him you win. Steelers may stop him as he is dealing with a calf injury.
Ironically, you're starting to sound like Mike Tomlin. It's not as simple as that. Green Bay has a good passing offense; they're fourth in the league in YPA.
They lost to the Browns, Tied the cowboys, and beat the Commanders, Cardinals and Bengals. All trash teams without a QB, RB and bad defenses.
Not a chance Rodgers loses this one, Hope he goes rogue if the play calling sucks.
The Cowboys and Commanders don't have QBs? Umm, what?

And on what do you base this in-depth analysis?
First off Tomlin is 7-2 coming off a Thursday night road loss. He is very good at home on Sunday nights. The offense has steadily improved, and Rodgers wants this win. Extra time to prepare and coming off a stinging loss I expect a rebound.

The cavalry is coming gang….I fly to the ‘Burgh tomorrow. I’m 5-0 in person 😉 (1-0 against Pack)

AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!

Hence you get back and settled, please give us your take & experience in the “burgh” trip & game.

Thanks in advance

Each team will score somewhere around 0-80 points...
the team with the most points likely wins

Only the Historic Steeler efense is capable of allowing an 80 spot, packers probably top out around 40…maybe 45 if Aaron super mad and gets a bunch of extra possessions.

It takes Historic communications, historic pedigree and historic coaching to have that 80 point ceiling the highest paid efense brings into stadiums on a weekly basis.

I’m feeling the same way, which is what makes me think the Packers win cuz I always misread a Packer game.

I remember in the past I’d never pass up an opportunity for getting points at home, didn’t happen too often…but we’ve reached an all new brand of Steelers where Heinz field isn’t an advantage so much anymore (maybe cuz it’s acriwhatever now, maybe cuz the driver of the clown car, maybe both)

Man, I hope you are right. "Green Bay has 1 quality win against the lions." And we barely, quote that barely, beat Justin Fields and the Jets. Our quality wins so far are what? Can't count NE, they weren't what they are today, CLE? MIN? Not really quality. We are now hitting the harder part of our season. Comes down to prep for the game, and MT is notorious for NOT planning a scheme. LaFleur will out prepare Tomlin for sure and he wants to win against AR just as much as A-Rod wants to win against his former team.

Tucker Kraft is a one to watch for our Defense. We don't defend TE's well at all.
I hear you, I don't think we have 1 quality win. We have multiple "Lucky to not lose against the leagues worst teams"
NE could have beat us by 30 points if they didn't fumble so many times.

The Steelers are not a good football team. 4-2 very deceiving record since they came awfully close to losing to the winless Jets in week one and were handed an early Christmas gift from the Patriots.
Had to fight off a late surge from Carson Wentz.
Only comfortable win came against rookie Dillon Gabriel and the Browns.
Fools gold! Don’t buy into this team with Tomlin leading the charge.
Next three games agains the best competition to date.
Packers, Colts, Chargers. Could see two to three losses here.
My thoughts 100%
A Tomlin team will Beat the Packers, Colts, Chargers get the fanbase believing
Then lose to Cinci Chicago,
Beat Buffalo and the Ravens.
Then lose the last 4 games

Doubt they beat the Lions.
They didn't beat the Cowboys? Yes Dak is a Legit top QB this year I was talking about who they beat.
Jordan love is playing pretty well but they don't have the high powered passing offense, Offense runs through Jacobs.
Daniels has been disappointing this year, missed 3 games, 2 games with more than 1 pass TD Overall not great
Love and Daniels are decent, but they aren't setting the world on fire. Both getting outplayed by guys young and old

This is a classic Tomlin rebound game. 10 days to prepare after a bad loss, at home on SNF, NFC team with a QB who holds the ball a long time. Throw in that it’s the biggest game for ARod in years and I’d say it’s a must win.

If they lose this and the D looks bad again, I think the bottom falls out.
Shades doesn't usually follow a bad game with another bad game, at least until late in the season.
The Packers haven't won in Pittsburgh since 1970. High scoring game but Steelers win, probably with a last-minute 60 yard Boz FG.

Bingo.
