I think when we talk about a number two RB, that might be in title only. If JaySam's college strengths show up in training camp, you probably will see a lot of Conner runs VS JaySam's pass catching ability.

And if Bell signs the tag and does not resign. Which is looking more likely per each day. You might see both sprinkled in a little more than last year.

Croissant's only chance IMO is if JaySam sucks it up. (or a injury to someone) Other than that I think this might be his last rodeo..........

Seems to me they plan on a STARTING running back who isn't even on the roster.............................. This NOT being in TC is such a negative due in part to NEW OC and twitches he has planned. How many official GAME WEEKS will it take to get up to game shape speed????? Many blow it off as "it'll be just like last year" well has anyone thought that last year is just that, LAST YEAR? There are so many variable connected to BELL's decision that m are it a coach's nightmare. Who is guaranteeing he will show up at all / in decent shape / attitude / drug free (needs to be rap free also) / know the new offense / the list goes on on............... HE PROBABLY WILL be good on most issues but you won't know till he gets here......................... Think of that present you've wanted so badly and when you get it and open it........ It's socks !!!!!!!

He will show up on Labor Day, sign the deal, and be in great shape, but not game shape. It will take a few weeks for him to get up to speed.

Therefore, if I am Tomlin, I would mix them all in and play the hot hand. When we get close to the goal line, I'd pull Bell in favor of Conner / Jaylen, just as a **** you to LeVeon. I don't live in my fears.

I am intrigued by Jaylen, I haven't seen anything from Conner that tells me he is anything special. He is going to get ben killed if he doesn't learn to pass protect., Toussant is just garbage.
Conner and Toussaint are a downgrade from Redman and Dwyer.

I think it is a little too early with a small amount of reps to label Conner. I think this year we will get a better read.
