Golson and Cockrell on the outside with Burns rotating in for Cockrell
Gay in the slot
Mitchell FS
Golden SS
Davis coming in subpackages

That is largely how I see it.

I've previously said that the Steelers' season will hinge on the development of Cockrell and Golson. If Burns contributes at all in 2016, great.

Golden can pretty much be penciled into the SS spot to start the season. Davis is an interesting talent, but I tend to doubt that he'll be ready to push Golden for awhile.

Maybe it's my age and low IQ but I don't understand the premise of this thread. Mitchell, Gay, Golden, Ventrone, Thomas and Cockrell we know...the rest have yet to even put on a uniform. There could well be a passel of Shamarko mixed up in the rest of those guys and we would not know till the pads pop this fall. Maybe after some preseason games this thread would make sense but at least 'till then I don't understand the point.
