Practice sqd: RB Dominique Brown; SS Dangerfield; OL Dismukes, Antonio Johnson; LBs LJ Fort, SGreen; DE Hemer; WR Phillips, West; TE HSpears

As well as some other roster moves:

#Steelers sign RB Jordan Todman, who had a 49-yard TD for CAR on Thurs; claim DE Caushaud Lyons from TB. Grant, Chickillo waived.

Wow, I thought Grant was a steal too.

Wow I thought Grant and Chickillo were gonna stick

why the **** do they waive grant who has shown good play recognition skills when they can cut Landry, Hubbard, Nix and no one will give a flying **** about'em

Between college and preseason Todman probably has 1000 yds running at Heinz Field.

Grant, Chickillo, Holliman did not make the roster. That makes three defenders and it is possible none end up on the practice squad.

******* great, get rid of 3 defensive players with potential and keep a worthless 3rd round pick "versatile" player. Idiots.

what the hell

damn

I don't know about Holiman. How does anybody? He showed nothing. I think Chickillo is just a guy. I know he became a camp favorite, but he is nothing special. The move with Grant is dumb.

Once they clear waivers Grant and Chickillo will be added to the practice squad.

I get signing Todman, don't know anything about Lyons...

gotta suck for Grant and Chick....think you made it, and whack.

I hope so. I would think so.

I just don't get the Bucs DE signing. If he would have had three years experience I would be more for it.

I know this is a stretch but was the Steelers butthurt over Tampa offering Howard Jones full salary to join their PS ? lol

I can't figure out why they added a DE with no experience...

Glad to see Hemer make the PS

this team is a mess. Four days before the season opener on National TV and they are picking up and dumping players as if they were playing Fantasy Football.

Exactly what I was thinking... but it doesn't matter so much if the picked up players are headed for the practice squad. where they can develop..

what does matter is while they are playing fantasy football the maybe this player can develop version

they aren't bringing it experience at safety

it is obvious Sham isn't the answer as a starter and fairly safe to say he isn't the answer if either starter goes down to injury

and what if Allen sucks it up then what ? ?

easily the biggest team weakness and they are ******* ignoring it

for how much Steelz was off on his offer.

**** make Seattle a better one multiple draft picks if that's what it takes

as

1 Ben is in his prime now
2 The D doesn't have the luxury next year to draft a S high and hope he develops, and if he doesn't we are right back in the spot they are now

with Ben that much older

now is the time to be aggressive at the position

IMO

Grant gone ... besides it being a stupid move, I now have to change my avatar.

**** Tombert for that!

Wow, after an injury and a waive, we're left with last year's CBs...

We will all look back in 10 years and see that the combination of Tomlin and Colbert killed this organization.

They are collectively clueless in the world of talent management and roster building.

Wow. The sky is definitely falling......Take cover!!!
