Regardless, I dont think that Wallace's level of play is SO far below that of what we could expect from Pouncey at this point, to warrant swapping them out. If Pouncey can consistently go full speed in practice, then give him a hat and have him ready, just in case

I'm conflicted on this one
Pouncey is clearly a better player and if he's healthy I want to see him on the field.
HOWEVER! Part of what makes an o-line great is the way they play together. The line has been unbelievable in recent weeks. I don't want to screw up that chemistry, but at the same time, Pouncey could just come in and make it even better.

Again, wake me up when he's practicing (and it's going to take weeks of practice for him to be anywhere close to game ready). These reports all come from Jeremy Fowler talking out of his *** --- there is just no way MP is playing a week from Sunday...
How many times do you have to lose a "pro bowl" center and watch a street free agent replace him and look reasonably competent before you recognize that you didn't need to make Pouncey the highest paid center in the game?(largest cap hi t in the league @ center from 16-18)
I know a certain return man who Tomlin could easily move out to make room for pouncy's return.
I think that 1) Pouncey will be rusty and 2) get injured again right away because he is rusty. And 3) they should let him walk when his contract is up. And 4) Tombert will re-sign him and give him all sorts of cap money to be on IR and miss a few more half seasons or full seasons.

I'll bite. My guess is the reference is to Tolin always lying about when a player will return, as if that makes a rat's *** of a difference, but he always does it any way.
