Pouncey: Bell Return Possible on Wednesday

Thing is everyone knew his stance. No reason to drag it out any further. It benefits nobody. Not the O's cohesion, not his wallet. Nothing.

The level of ignorance with him is alarming.
 
Guys I’ve said in other threads and again, I don’t think this ****** will show this week.
My thoughts all along that in his thought process that he could be trying to see if he can force the team’s hand hoping they lift the tag. Now he’s a free agent able to negotiate with whomever he wants. You say but he wouldn’t forgo 800k a week. Don’t be to sure of that. He may be thinking I’ll test them out a few weeks with the hope they pull the tag. Then he makes what he lost in a new contact with his new team.
Remember who we’re dealing with. The same guy who turned down not one but two huge offers from the team.

As a team captain, Pouncey is probably correct here, but I wish he didn't say it.

I hope Colbert and Tomlin gave orders NOT to talk about when Bell will report, otherwise he'll take to twitter and say FAKE NEWS, and not report on that given day.

What ever his reason(s) are it makes me wonder JUST how hard he will play. Will he play "soft" 1st 1/2 season then hard the rest?? ONLY time can answer that as what ever plan BELL has will change between now and the full execution of it.

It has nothing to do with lying about it. It has to do with him supporting Bell over the team and guys who showed up and put in the work.

Ivey his physical will be very in-depth this year. Steelers won’t take any chances. If they find anything it could BIG TIMe hurt his bargaining chips or trade value.

If Conner ends up the default starter due to a Bell no-show for the first 10 weeks, Steelers are ******.
Conner is a feelgood story, but he's not Leveon Bell,
James Conner wouldn't win the starting job for any other team in the league either.

Screw Bell. I wouldn't give a ball of dryer lint and two used pieces of gum for him now. We're a passing team by far and away. They'll be just fine. The worry is the defense. See replay of at home playoffs game last year with a healthy offense that included Bell. Didn't mean **** .
 
And when Bell does report he will be 2nd string. **** him. I am a bit happy we will be rolling without him. I hope he stays away for all 10 games.

if he show up tomm once he passes physical see how is not running behind the line id conner looks better you start him and split the carries
 
The odds of him staying out are pretty good. They had all pre season to get everyone else ready. It'll be ugly at times running the offense without one of the best in the league, but they'll have to adjust. The defense is going to dictate how this season goes no matter who is in the back field. If we can't stop anybody, the offense won't make much difference come playoff time.

NOT really a surprise to me. Do I like him more because of this........HELL NO. Does this somehow make him a better RB.......HELL NO. Does this booster his value.....HELL NO. Does this help the team in any way.......HELL NO. Does this help make it easier for those who defend him........HELL NO. I could go on and on but will I..........HELL NO..!!!!!!
