Good or bad, Allar was handpicked by MM. There is 0 chance he gets cut this year

The Steelers are not cutting Drew Allar. They will do their due diligence developing Allar this year but they are not cutting him or risking stashing him on the PS. He will be the third QB this year.
As far as the backup I think it depends on training camp and pre season between Rudy and Mr.Howard. Best man wins and the loser traded or cut.
