Now that the 2021 NFL Draft has concluded, every team in the league is looking much more different than they were 72 hours ago. Rosters have been updated with exciting new draft picks, but how has that impacted each team’s chances to reach the big game? The Super Bowl is up for grabs, and one of the world’s biggest gambling companies, FanDuel has updated their odds and picks for each team. They include the Kansas City Chiefs at +500 (1st overall), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at +650 (2nd overall), and the Pittsburgh Steelers at +3600 (18th overall).
The Baltimore Ravens were spotted at +1400 (6th overall) and the Cleveland Browns at +1800 (9th overall), and Pro Football Focus even had the audacity to leave out the Steelers when asking fans who the best team in the AFC North currently is:
So this begs the question: are the Steelers legit Super Bowl contenders this year? With future Hall of Fame quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger under center for at least one more season, 2021 first round draft pick, Najee Harris likely taking the reigns at running back, and a top 10 defense in 2020 that is returning 9/11 starters for the 2021 season… we believe so. But we’ll leave that for yinz to decide.
What are the chances the Steelers make the Super Bowl this season? Comment below!
