Yeah Joey I've watched this team closely for a good 25 years. Like every game. Lloyd was better than you, Kirkland was better than you, Chad Brown was better than you. Now look at your ring finger and ask why you have one.

Heh...not to mention Jack Lambert, Jack Ham, Kevin Greene, Jason Gildon, and Andy Russell.

I thought their was an unwritten rule not not bash another player publicly? Keep it in house. Assuming it is true it speaks more about Joey than it does about Ben. Also, always 3 sides to every story.

I'm just not into football anymore. It's just too hard. These guys are so emotionally fragile...he should have apologized earlier...and wah, wah. For the love. All this overwrought emotion. Man are these guys *******.

You gotta read between the lines with this stuff. The truth is that what Porter and a bunch of these other people who have been so critical of Ben mean is that he should have just eaten a bunch **** sandwiches from these guys and been happy about it. He's the white guy. He's privileged. When you strip it all away, that is what is being said here.

?Ben shouldn't apologize for anything. he was calling people out that were not playing well. that is his job in my opinion. this could have been a championship team if everyone played up to par

“Ben, on the other hand, he’s accepted in that world”, he offered. “And when they see him not using it for them, but only for himself, you’re going to have some animosity there, and I think once it got so bad, it was good for AB to go his way, L Bell to go his way. Ben isn’t going anywhere. He’s going to be the future. He’s going to be there for as long as he wants to be there”.

You're exactly right. Based on what Joey revealed, Colbert's 52 Kids comments no doubt furthered the divide with the Five Percenter talking heads around the NFL over white privilege in the locker room.

Ben also wasn't a kneeler and probably fell hard on the side of standing.

Another question to be pondered: Tomlin is "accepted in that world" too. Clearly insulated from consequences if we apply Porter's logic consistently. His supposed strength was being the player's coach that "NFL players would most like to play for." That's been revealed as a myth.

Tomlin also complained about lack of minority hires this offseason. Yet, he failed to develop Joey Porter to even to a D-Coordinator level or one-day HC candidate along the lines of a Mike Vrabel meathead. In fact, his coaching tree and mentoring record is barren. I'd suspect Tony Dungy is not pleased that his prized pupil has failed to reproduce the vision for the next generation.

I sense an overwhelming amount of jealousy towards Ben from all these loudmouth idiots.....Porter, AB, Bell, hell, even from guys I can't even remember being on the roster. Why? Because he's the "golden boy" in the city? He's the franchise QB, tough ****. These guys are all haters because they feel overshadowed by Ben. And for good reason.

They didn't ask Porter to show up for the show to say nice things about Ben. It was the only way he was going to get his face on there.

Would have seemed more natural for them -- while they were "at it" -- to ask him about the guy who didn't renew his contract. But doesn't fit the agenda.

I'd love for Colin Cowherd to bring Joey on.

AB shows up to camp in a ******* helicopter, stays off campus...blows off OTAs and acts like a douchebag in general...but Ben's the bad guy.

And I don't know why anybody mentions Bell in the same sentence with any of this. Bell's dumbassery has nothing to do with any of this bullshit.

Oh these guys are absolutely killing it for me. I keep waiting for someone to step on in and shut all of this **** down. Nothing.

Are these guys really this emotionally fragile? It's pathetic. No wonder they can't win ****. China doll feelings.
