JE had a drop that cost a first down around three 40 i believe when all they needed was a FG. Even Sanu has not been reliable and the younger guys have not stepped up. They also have crap at TE. They definitely need a top Wr and Te if they plan to give Brady another shot

We are 6 million over the cap and everyone says we'll have no problem getting enough room for Dupree's 16 million cap hit, and we have free agents and holes to fill.
If they want Brady at a 25 million dollar hit they'll have no issues fitting him in.

I will never dispute Brady over Manning , Manning was the better QB. I just was comparing their situations of declining skills but money and teams still coming their way even when some thought it wouldn't.

If Belicheat lets him go, Br*dy will play for the vet minimum with any team that will sign him because he isn't ready to hang it up (even though he should). Remember, his wife makes more money than he does.

They certainly have a large number of significant FA's and obviously not all are coming back, but they are almost 50m under. Marcia is coming back next year for sure. But after say his 20-25 million it would be tough. Wouldn't surprise me if he signed a 2 year deal worth 25 million and spread it over two with one season only. I think he knows at this stage he needs a **** load of help.

The creativity of the Brady contract will really be something to watch this offseason. Huge names on that team on defense and a couple big Oline are UFA. Two safeties plus Chung still has to deal with the courts. Shelton, Collins. They will get it done and probably still add the best FA TE almost certainly.
I dont know. They would really have to have the pieces and the coach. Belicheat and Brady have an esp thing morphed into rainman upstairs. I'm not sure his 7 yard passes would really work at all anywhere else. Plus I dont think he would want to end his career somewhere else for money.
Oh it did and I don't think he will be going to New England anytime soon.
