Playoff scenarios

Yes and they've won 5 of their last 10 as well. They got blasted by Houston and even got blasted by KC if you don't arbitrarily have a 6 game cut off. They've beaten some bad teams and lost to good teams.

It's not an arbitrary cutoff, they are playing solid football right now. This is a different team than they were earlier in the season.

It's not an arbitrary 6 game cutoff. Since Hue Jackson was fired, the Browns are 5-2. I think the point is that the Browns have clearly improved over the season. They won @ Denver last week and that's a tough place to play

They do have a chance vs the Ravens

Of course the clowns are a much better team than the Chargers... That's why they lost to them by 24 ******* POINTS AT HOME.

Seriously the clowns aren't that good. They've beaten one decent team and that was the rats before they changed their offense. I believe that was Flacco's last game when he got hurt. They haven't beaten a good team this year. They usually get blown out by good teams. They got hammered by the Chargers, KC, and Houston... I know the Steelers tied them the first game but the 2nd game the Steelers won 33 to 18.

They've been beating up on bad teams like Carolina, Denver and the Raiders. Baltimore should win the game but stranger things have happened.

How ironic is that statement?

They've won 5 games against bad teams. The 2 they lost were good teams. So how is it they are a good team when they can't beat good teams?

The Broncos? The same Broncos that got beat by ******* SF the week before? You're kidding right? They aren't a good team and they'll be lucky not to finish 6-10.

That "injury riddled mess" kicked the raiders ***** if I remember correctly...

Agreed, but two of those bad teams beat us, so who knows

The Steelers can lose to anyone at any time. I don't put much stock in that. I wouldn't judge a team based on if they beat us or not. We beat the pats**** and lose to the Raiders. It doesn't mean the Raiders would beat the pats****. The clowns are more traditional. They beat bad teams and get hammered by good teams. Even with their new coach they lost 2 games... both to good teams and both were blow outs. One at home to KC by 16 and one on the road at Houston by 16.

I still don't think Baltimore is a good team, just a match up problem with their offense. I do not think they will beat Baltimore, but I think they have a shot.

Ravens are only a 5-point favorite.

Steelers are -14.5.

Wonder when the last time a non-playoff team was more than a 2-touchdown favorite?

I don't think they are good either. But they are better than the clowns. At least the rats have beaten someone. They beat the chargers in a do or die game. The clowns are just beating bad teams. That's the difference in them. They have a chance to win but I wouldn't bet money on it. The rats defense is much better than it was the first time they played and they can run the ball. That's hard to beat in the NFL in winter.

the 49ers have been playing good ball lately too. They beat the Seahawks 2 weeks ago and today they lost to Chicago 14-9. The 49ers had the Broncos at home. Cleveland won at Denver.

You're the one clinging to the notion that the Browns are not much better second half of the season

You better hurry and tell the Vegas oddsmakers that they don't know what they're doing because they have the Ravens less than a TD favorite. Seems odd for such a mighty unbeatable Ravens team vs a ****** Browns team to be only a 5.5 point favorite.

Rule of thumb is that homefield is worth 3 points in the line so that is saying browns might be a half point favorite if the game was in cleveland.

Ravens probably win but the Browns do have a decent chance,

But then you're putting your faith in the Steelers moronic coach to put a game-plan together to beat the Bengals.

Good luck with that.

At least they are beating up on the ****** teams. Had the Steelers done that, we wouldn't be discussing whether or not Baker Mayfield and the Browns can beat the Ravens.

Upsides, the Stains are playing for a winning season and Joey Eyebrows was playing bad enough that he got benched.

That bengals team quit weeks ago. Doesn’t mean they won’t be out to hurt a couple players though..

I probably will only watch the Browns vs Ravens game. Our game means nothing if Browns don’t pull off the upset of the century.

So you go bet the money then hot shot. Put your faith in the clowns. Again who in the hell have they beaten? You keep bringing up Denver and the 49ers. They must be great ******* teams right? Seriously please just stop. I guess there are no bad teams anymore. They are all great because the clowns lost to them. Wow the Steelers must be a great team because we beat them like a drum. Why should we even want to make the playoffs because we'd lose quickly to those even greater teams like Houston who killed them. Hell if they beat the clowns they must be one of the best teams of all time.Seriously stop with the clown love. IF we were needing the rats to win this game you're attitude and observation of the clowns would be 180 degrees different.

There wasn't one all caps statement in that. Not sure where you are getting the defensive part from. If you people want to love on the clowns be my guest. Like I said, if the roles were reversed there would be only rats love on here today.

My fault, I didn’t know it had to be all caps to signify the defensive tone. Gotta catch up on the message board lingo.

Just using a little reductio ad absurdum. The idea that somehow the clowns are now some great team because they beat the bungles twice (who as you precisely put it gave up weeks ago), Denver, and Carolina is just baffling to me. They aren't that good.

Why is 6 not arbitrary? He is 5-2 which is 7 not 6. He didn't want go back to 7 because it added an extra loss. He wasn't talking about the coaching change. If he were he would have used 7. Also of those 5 wins zero, none, nada, zilch are against teams with winning records. Those two losses were beat downs by decent teams. Also 2 of those 5 wins are against the bungles who have lost 6 out of the last 7 games. The bungles are a walking MASH unit. They lost their starting QB, TE and best WR in Green. They also have the worst defense in the entire league being ranked 31st in points and 32nd in yards.

So I don't really care that the clowns have won 5 games against teams that won't sniff .500. They might beat the rats. If so then great. But again I'm not betting on it.. and my guess is you aren't putting any money down either.

Of course I picked that as the cutoff point because the Browns are stringing wins together and it's something we do all of the time when talking about streaks. Baker Mayfield has also been playing very well over this stretch. Nothing more nothing less.
