I wonder how much money he is making off of these?
I think just the ads and sponsors on some videos, also Pittsburgh-scented candles like one that smells like the old Hills snackbar.
I find the humor in being able to laugh at myself.
For me captures the roller coaster feeling our Steelers give us each Sunday.
And his quirky habits such as 3...2....1.....win.
As for me it's
"Stick it kid" when Boswell lines up.
Which is much easier than
My old Jeff Reed routine.
Also gives those of us "away from home" a brief trip back.

Maybe I am weird but I find him hilarious and a pretty good personal reflection of myself on game days.
I like his old school burgh references. And he does throw out some chuckles here and there.

You got it 'freak', just to hear him discuss the game in terms that are distant memories is amusing. His humor reminds me of the dry wit from old Mash episodes with Hawkeye Pierce on Frank Burns.
Some of it is funny and pure satire and some is corny slapstick, while all of it is pure Pittsburgh to me.

Entenmann's sells cakes just about everywhere Jonboy, I don't get it either. Unless Dad thinks they are special for some reason. They are good but not especially distinct as far as I know.
I know my particular Entenmann's coffee dippin' vice is always sold out down here.....
The more I visit Pittsburgh, the funnier Pittsburgh Dad gets. He is pure Pittsburgh who speaks fluent Pittsburgheese. Dude touched on a nerve of 80s Pittsburgh Nostalgia, that people who used to live in the Burgh can relate to. I never lived there, but I'm getting more in touch with the colloquialisms each time I visit, so his sketches get funnier and funnier to me as I'm learning the language and local references.

If you grew up in Pittsburgh then you can relate to him like I can. The dialect, the emotion, pouring your heart and soul into a three hour game every week
and the sarcastic one liners is so Pittsburgh.

I'm old enough to get the references and he sounds like almost every dad in my neighborhood when I was a kid. The early vid of the Slip 'n Slide and killing the grass was a classic.
My Dad used to work at a General Tire plant, both long since gone. He printed large rolls of medium to heavy gauge plastic for everything from shower curtains, twister games, to stuff ending up in auto interiors and vinyl roofs..
We would always have hundred yard rolls of 8 foot wide plastic lying around as a kid, and a large hill leading into a field, in the backyard. With a well, water was an issue, but it was a blast when we did roll it out. Regular neighborhood water park.
