Vet min + incentives

-- Saints Release Keenan Lewis --
Fri Aug 19, 2016 --from FFMastermind.com

ESPN reports the New Orleans Saints have released veteran CB Keenan Lewis.

official

Worth a shot as stated previously vet min and incentives

If they'd sign him he'd have to be ready to play. After green I think they'd be overly precautious if they risked signing Lewis.

He had / has hip and knee problems. Plus he was not good in NO. Now be could pull a Willie Gay, but it is highly unlikely.

He fit the Steelers scheme well. For me it would be is he completely healthy before a sign. But other than that he brings vet experience. Something this teams at the position.

Vet experience is needed....but from a player who can play. I don't know if he will ever be healthy enough to excel. He could, but it is a question mark.

Looks like the Steelers were smart about letting him go in the first place...

I think he was asking for too much money at the time right? I thought he had a decent 2012 showing

I remember it as he wanted to play for his hometown team. he might even have signed for less money with the saints

I think this is spot on. He left because he wanted to -play for the saints (home town). Now it appears as though he is NOT worth the risk involved. Now pre-injury, then yes, but I'm not to openly wanting a slowed CB even if he played for us at one time.

If he was slowed that would mean he didn't recover from his injuries and sure then we wouldn't want him. The want was contingent on a healthy Keenan.

I was thinking of Wallace. Both New Orleans born

Looks like he is saying two weeks on a return to health............per PFT

Ladarious slipped through the crack and that made me a little wary of injury. If he is Back to normal or very close to normal, then SIGN away. We'll take him.

Looks like he's going to visit Pittsburgh today.
