You trust this coaching staff to develop a 6th/7th round QB? They couldn't develop a single mid round QB they drafted previously.
 
I would take Jones at this point. Will be cheaper than Rogers or Wilson and Jones is pretty big and mobile. Jones should be able to run our middle school offense as good as anyone for millions less. I am a Rogers fan but do not want to see him here. I think he should just retire. His numbers were decent, but in the games I saw he did not look good most of the time. He was coming off injury and what not, but at his age I'm not sure he is ever going to regain his form.

The pool of available used parts from the junk yard continues to dry up. If Jones got 14M the rest of them should be offered less. Just the way Rooney likes it.

Wasn't a 1st round talent to be fair. I'm far from being a Tomlin supporter, it's not like he's had a lot of QB's to try and develop to get this reputation of not being able to develop QB's. I think a more accurate thing to say, he doesn't know how to look for QB's. He lucked out with Ben for so long...Where the failure was/is, not having a plan for after Ben.

Is that you call this? How about breaking 90% of the eggs? Look at Clown-lin's 1st round picks alone. See any trends? 1-5 out of LBs worked out.

Mendenhall - mostly worthless.
Hood - mostly worthless for sure.
Pouncy - decent but overrated.
Decastro - OK
Jarvis Jones - Pure crap.
Shazier - good but got hurt.
Dupree - overrated.
Burns - pure crap.
Watt - very good, only real good pick.
Edmunds - Over drafted, not worthy of 1ST ROUND.
Bush - Flat out bust. Total sh--.
Najee Harris - overrated, not worthy of a 1st round. 3rd rounder at best.
Kenny Pickett - Bust. A Browns back up, 'nuff said.
Broderick Jones - not looking good.

Unless you call what they did to Pickett, "development." Clown-lin is horrid at QB development. Only Ben developed. Only Ben.
