What's really sad is his own family won't take up the cause so my wife and her sister elected to step in. They say it's what Mom would have wanted us to do....She passed 14 years ago...Her third sister said no way, he's a complete *******, which he is. This is the last move and if he's lucky he will have enough resources to hopefully get him through to his last day.
What's funny was that when I was hauling some wall art to his room, I overheard one of the CNAs tell the other CNA to help the man in 116. He drives me nuts! I fully understand the sentiment.
The Penguin's season has been a great break from the reality of an overstressed, over worked wife on the edge dealing with being the primary caregiver of someone who was already an ******* but now an ******* with dementia. I am really hoping this last move gets her back to a good place. Sorry for the venting. Go Pens!!
