Pats vs Chiefs

Don't get your hopes up... The nfl doesn't typically test non offenders for PEDs during the regular season ... so Brady's magic arm strength will be back in a few weeks...

Also the league periodically does change up encryption now... usually after the Pats win or come close... it doesn't take them that long to figure out the new ways

The Patriots often loo a little off at the beginning of teh season before they have a chance to compile this years library of stolen signals.
 
Pats seem to me very vulnerable to injury this year, lacking depth at key positions. Their defense was very weak last night when
Hightower went out. On offense Edelman is already out and Amendola and Gronk tend to be China Dolls.
 
What a pleasant start to the season seeing Gillette stadium go from 16-0 euphoria to 0-1 and quiet as a morgue.
 
Pretty sure Andy Reid has a VERY impressive record for bye weeks as a head coach. We did give him an L in the playoffs after a bye earlier this year. This obviously doesn't count as a bye week being the first week of the season, but it has the same impact. He had ample time to put together a gameplan for NE and they executed it really well. One thing I noticed and that was pointed out during halftime was how little they were rushing Brady. They brought 3 and dropped 8. You can't do that against Tom Brady. You just can't give him time to pick you apart. In the 2nd half, KC adjusted. (GASP). This is where we have not been able to succeed in our adjustments. Maybe you can say they have the personnel to make these adjustments and we have not. Whatever the case, I hope the coaches took note of these adjustments and mix things up more defensively. Tom Brady getting knocked on his *** changed the outcome of this game for KC.

The Pats fans and players were full of themselves and it sure backfired. It backfired on the game announcers and the terrible pregame and half time boys. All Pats except they forgot to look at the score.
 
The new ESPN narrative following the Pats debacle last night. This lost was JUST what they needed to focus them and bring them back down to Earth. Now they are REALLY dangerous.

They have to go on the road next vs. a team that had a 2016 5,000 yard passer, a 1,000 rusher, and two 1,000 yard WR's.

While everyone is saying Brady was off and he lost his WR's, the New England defense gave up a lot of point too. The front seven to me was pushed around.

Hoping for 0-2. Go Saints!

I like it. Since the NFL adopted its current 12-team playoff format in 1990, there have been 160 clubs that began a year with a 0-2 record. Only 22 of those teams, just 13.75 percent, became playoff entries.
 
Pats still only have to be better than the Jets, Bills and Dolphins to make the playoffs. Although, i believe I heard that the Pats never made the Super Bowl without a playoff bye.

That is the important thing. Get the Bye. It's a huge part of the pats success and the Steelers often piss it away with at least 1 or 2 losses to bad teams.
