I offer a 1st and if the Cards turn it down, I make it a 1st and a 4th.
Michael Bidwell has said repeatedly that Peterson is not on the market.
However if I made the decisions in Steeler command center, I would offer our first in 2019 to them.
After all, who was our 1st round pick in 2018?

Give them a 1st and Justin Hunter

one point of clarification: We didn't go out and get Haden, Haden fell into our laps because the Browns are dumb, and Haden searched out the Steelers so he could burn them twice a year. He was a free agent, and only had eyes for Pittsburgh. Didn't meet with anyone else, and traveled to Tennessee to make sure they could get a deal signed. Love that guy!
Peterson is worth a first. Especially if this move makes that 1st round pick #32 in the draft!
Money wise, We can afford Peterson today, without moving anyone, or restructuring, thanks To Bell's $6M in space (and counting) that he is continuing to give us each week. From this point of the season his contract would cost around $8M. Bell paid for this man, go out and get him!
If we move a player though, the draft pick drops. So If Burns was involved, it would be Burns and a 2nd, or Burns and a 3rd. No way would I do Burns and a first. He'd do well to learn behind 2 pro bowlers, since the skillset is there. He just has to get better at using the sidelines to help him defend.
one final point, Peterson's cap space fits in line for the following years with Bell and Shazier off of the books.
PLUS - Peterson is better than any DB coming out of college right now when we pick at 1/32 anyway...I wouldn't blink about giving up a first. To address the biggest weakness? damn right I would
Unfortunately the Steelers are stuck in their routine way of doing things.
Don't you mean Artie Burns???Give them a 1st and Justin Hunter
I can live w/ this...They're going to want to go young in Arizona. I'd give up a 2nd, Burns, and Chickollo for Peterson.

Burns and 1st pick for Peterson. Would you pull that trigger? I think I would if AZ would agree.

Guard Ramon Foster told us he does imagine Patrick Peterson here. No disrespect to anyone on the roster but "when you have an opportunity to get a guy like him or position yourself with a defensive player of his magnitude you gotta see if your management team will take the shot."
You shut your mouth!Patriots are trying to make room for a move. They’re going to go after Peterson.
