Saw a yahoo article regarding P*ts fans pointing out that other team's fans LOVE to whine about P*ts cheating because it helps ease the pain of getting their ***** handed to them by the G.O.A.T.

In the end it doesn't matter. The P*ts will always be associated with the taint of cheating. From the moment Eric Mangini exposed the P*ts filming operation AFTER telling BB to knock it off and being ignored the rest of the NFL world was made aware of the ridiculous extent to which the P*ts had gone to compile signal footage from other teams.

The P*ts will NEVER escape the stain of the asterisk because they have indeed cheated. Everyone knows it. They continue to cheat. Everyone knows this as well. P*ts fans can deny it all they like. Heck. You HAVE to deny it. What else can you do? Accept that your entire franchise is based on blatant, systematic cheating?

Where does that leave you? Oh ya. Chicago destroying you in the SuperBowl. But at least that team lost fair and square.

What makes me sad is all the truly talented players that have been on the P*ts team that will never be truly respected because the rest of the NFL world can't really respect anything they've done. How much of their accomplishments are their own and how much are based on the cheating?

The rings don't count. Those came because of the cheating.

The defensive stats? Easier when you know what play the offense is about to run. Sure your team still has to defend it, but that's so much easier to do when you know from the start what the offense is planning.

The offensive stats? That's ridiculous. The offense already has an advantage and when your offense gets the defensive signals just before the snap - you can't even begin to have respect for yourself as a professional.

And the worst part of it is, most of the P*ts players probably don't even know the extent of the cheating. All they know is that Br*dy made a GREAT audible at the line and WOW, was THAT play open! Man, good thing he audibled to a run there! Whew! Who knew the linebacker was going to drop into deep coverage and a lane would open up like that? Gosh that backup QB from Michigan is AMAZING! Except that whenever he gets hurt and somebody else has to play for a couple weeks they're amazing TOO. Weird.

Ultimately I just feel sorry for your fan base because you don't respect yourselves enough to want your team to win without cheating. It's sad really.

They only care about winning, cheating? They could really care less. What disgusts me is this NFL doesn't care what the Pats are doing unless they are caught.And then it is sweep it quickly under the rug. Instead of banning billacheat like he deserved to be in the first place.

Part of the punishment for spygate was that if Billiboy ever got caught cheating again he would be banned for life. Well low and behold, he threw t*mmyb*y under the bus and distanced himself from it. NOTHING happened to him. My question is what about Shawn Payton??????? Diodn't he serve a year SUSPENTION even though he knew nothing of the cheating or bounty gate???? That whole organizeation starting at the top then to Billy then to his coordinators and Ernie are ******* cheaters. You're right as some of the players may not know all the details but they aren't stupid, they hear the accusations....... They know they are benefitting from something so they are just a guilty. NO sympathy for anybody in that organization, unless someone miraculasly comes clean. **** the CHEATRIOTS !!!!!!!!

That's what drives me crazy about the whole damn thing. The NFL does a months long investigation on bounty gate, tell us what was found.
Spygate, they go in and destroy everything in a matter of days and sweep everything under the rug.

Deflate gate only happened because all the other owners wanted to see the Pats finally punished for the real severity of Spygate, and instead the Pats suddenly have a miracle turnaround in the superbowl to win...

I mean its been said before that the real magnitude of their cheating could literally destroy the NFL, and despite that players are getting more loose lipped in social functions about it... its only a matter of time till someone in the know carpet bombs the whole league with the truth....

In any event, guilt by association or as put to Shawn Payton........You're the head coach and you are responsible for your player's actions..........why wasn't Billiboy held responsible??? We both know the answer as Kraft and the "rog" are tight irregardless of the fines/cheating/ courts ect. Ect. I think the punishments were just a blinder to help sway public feeling that the NFL actually will / did punish them so there is nothing to hide. My guess is that the league is going to let this current belicheat era fade into history and then not allow such cheating again. Makes a true fan puke.

The NFL product is deeply tarnished by this nonsense. I feel like the game is hard to get excited about because of it.

I think the extent of their cheating will all come out one day after they have all retired. Former opposing players and coaches will talk about all the crazy **** that has happened to them over the years in those games that should never, ever happen. I think everyone is keeping their mouth shut about it so they don't sound like sore losers and also because they don't want to get on Goodell's radar for "damaging the shield". I think you'll hear some very interesting stuff in a few years. Hopefully everything they have accomplished will be tainted to Barry Bonds like proportions when it does.

Oters that have publicly said they wouldn't vote for BB, but none has gone into detail why except general cheating... they all know... even pats fans do... they just dismiss it cause its their team doing it... if the jets got BB and tge same stuff happened, Im guessing Pats fans wouldn't be so chill with it
