This team is resilient, they hate to lose, and I know the memory of having a game slip thru their fingers like this is going to sting like maybe no other loss this group has endured together. I just don't see any other response from this group than to come together and blast their way to the AFC championship game, and if it's the *s standing in their way, I wouldn't want to be them.

Hopefully this is going to be a playoff run like the 2005 season when we went on a tear and got revenge on the Colts.
They need to let Ben rack up the points, screw offensive balance. Run when it's there but Ben can pick apart any defense and I feel we could put up 35+ yesterday easy if we stayed aggressive the whole game with the pass.

This game may be just the kick in the nuts this offense needs. It's been playing at a high level since the Bye, but now, with a sense of urgency, I expect a new level out of this team. Even without AB. Bell, Bryant, Hunter, JuJu, Eli, Jesse, Xman, and hopefully Vance. This team can roll!!

perhaps their confidence level rises too. And we know confidence can be a good thing, pushing forward.

Well, there's only 2 ways this team can go. I like ya'll's optimism, but allow me to be a Debbie Downer for a bit...

After seeing Shazier in the stadium, I figured we'd play super-hyped and break Brady's kneecaps and send Gronk into concussion protocol. Nope, the massholes march right down the field and score.

Then AB's injury. Then Connor, who sure has been a great story, goes down. Add to this mix the mindset that we can't beat these cheating m'f'ers (at least not mano-a-mano; without the refs' help). Throw in a tough divisional opponent (Jax), and you can see how a promising year took a turn downwards after this heartbreaking loss.

I'd love to see a run similar to '05, but I just don't see much leadership from this team. There's a mental aspect to all of this. We are far from Lloyd's "60 Minute Men" team concept. And other than Heyward, I've yet to see anyone (sidelines or huddle) get in his teammates' faces & get them hyped up. I miss Peezy the player. Mitchell is a hothead without much talent.

Also, I was expecting much more from the Heinz Field crowd. Not being there and only watching on TV, I can only comment on what I saw/heard, but I was expecting the crowd to be a bit more rowdy. After all, these are the sumbitches who have stolen so much from us for so many years. I was excited about the "MVP" chant as AB was walked off the field, but that died down quickly. And I nary heard more than a few seconds of "boos" after the TD was overturned.

Debbie Downer rant over.

I don't see how they can add a chip to the chip they had on their shoulder going into yesterday.

I respect the optimism, but I don’t see it. They’ll most likely end up playing Baltimore wild card weekend. (3 / 6). Then they beat the **** out of each other like they always do. If they win, they get to face a rested NE team at home. Soooo...

So the Steelers are losing to the Texans or Browns to lose the first-round bye? Get out of here.

It's like people haven't watched this team at all the past two seasons. These guys are nothing if not resilient. They're not going to let one heartbreak destroy them to the point where they lay an egg vs Houston or Cleveland. They are going to play very well these past two games and lock up the #2, and possibly 1 if Buffalo takes care of business

A bunch of whining wussies here thinking the freakin season is over

I'm a big critic of the crowd turning very soft over the past few years, but the crowd was excellent on Sunday. The home crowd wasn't going to boo when the offense is trying to set up and run a play.

If we have to play them again, we are totally covering the spread. Covering it the **** up. Investigation Discovery ain’t finding it.

This team has the P**** in their heads. Going to wind up looking ahead to the AFCCG and get knocked off in the divisional round by Baltimore, KC, or Jacksonville.

I hope they feel so cheated they play like they need to.
