Other Week 17 Games

Hurts had a guy open on their fourth and goal attempt on the previous drive and came up short on an off balance pass. Sudfeld comes in, nearly runs out of his own end zone and throws a pass way beyond his receiver for a pick. Eagles playing for that higher draft pick now because it made zero sense to bench the guy you need to watch.

Terrible choice just 0 reason for it. Can't imagine what the giants are thinking

"We should've won more than six games."

Seriously, Philly is tanking this for a draft pick because it makes no sense not to evaluate Hurts, who was a second-round pick last year.

Philly is fooked. their payroll is a mess starting with franchise dollars going to their backup qb. Word is said backup qb is going to ask for a trade. Alas, his contract is a mess. Unless he agrees to give a **** ton back (which would be dumb), he will be on their books for at least one more year. They have no choice but to play for as many draft picks as they can get.

unless he was told to do it. I would fire Peterson as soon as he came in the locker room, stupid.

Lol, Eagles didn't even try to lateral the ball. You hear a guy yell "pitch it back" and the receiver just goes down.

Sudfeld had arguably the worst QB play outside of the practice squad receiver who played QB for Denver.

That was the most blatant tank job I've ever seen. Teams have sent backups in to start a game but they played hard throughout. Heck, the Jets blew a chance at the top pick with a generational QB prospect coming out. That was a pathetic display tonight.

generational? nah. Jax won't use him right.

It was reported earlier Sunday, he would ask for a trade and help facilitate it. Looks like he'll do anything to get out of Philly

Makes you wonder how this team and organization won the Super Bowl????

Not defending Sudfeld, but it's not like Hurts was playing some stellar game with his 7-20 for 72 yards and a pick. He can run though, so I guess there's that. I guess I am missing the hype train with this guy. Everyone acts like pulling him was some great injustice. He's a mediocre passer that can run. No, the NFL has never seen that before.

I thought you could be docked draft picks for tanking. It would be interesting to see if this will be the case moving forward.

I don't care that they wanted the higher draft pick, it was the smart play. If you watched how it played out, it felt pretty lame, but we knew the Eagles wanted to lose with all of the guys who were out. They had nothing to gain by winning. At the moment in the game, though, it felt pretty lame how it all played out at QB.

And Pedersen's explanation was lame. Nobody buys that.

This is something we have never experienced as a fan base. Our team tanking to lose a game. Steelers play to win, our Coaches always make the calls to put us in the best position to win football games.

It is ******* embarrasing to watch the Eagles give away a game they could have easily won. Even without most of their starters. But pulling Hurtz means you are a ***** of a head coach, and forces your fan base to be OK with losing.

Yay! we moved up 4 spots in the draft!!! What does it matter when your coach has already shown you he's just fine with losing...

I would love to know if that was owner influenced. Eagles fans are some of the worst they can suck it all in and soak in their grief.
