Not Steelers football but what about the arena leagues and Canadian football when do those guys play and is there much going on out there now? Just wondering about it in case there are some guys and gals on here that follow other leagues and what they think about it. One plus as I see it no cheatriots or Goodell.:cool:

I tried to watch arena and arena2 football several years ago. Just could keep my interest. I like defense and a run game. Much of why I don't care as much for the NFL is because it has moved from what I like to more of an arena league feel.

I attend indoor football games in the spring. The Sioux Falls Storm play in the Indoor Football league. They are 8 time champions and finished a second 4-peat last year. Shawn Lemmon played here in 2011. Is different but fun.

I get offers for free tickets to Tampa Bay Storm several times a year. I never take them and have even offered to give them away with no takers.

When I lived in Toledo, Ohio, I used to attend some semi-pro and women's pro football league games. Surprisingly, the women played an entertaining brand of ball. The semi-pros however were horrendous. Maybe I was just subconsciously cutting the ladies some slack.

Well heck, I just went to check out if the women's team in Toledo was still in existence and I found something called the Legends Football League. I'd have been a season ticket holder if they had this when I lived in town. LOL

I go to 1-2 Soul games in Philly. The arena game is entertaining in its own way, and more importantly, it is dirt cheap. For the same price as going to see an Eagles/Steelers pre-season games with crappy seats I get sideline seats and I can see players from college that were pretty good - but not good enough to get in to the NFL.
