A non PI call was challenged by the Panthers and they were awarded the penalty. First time I've seen that happen.

Then they miss an easy field goal.

Saints now driving and in FG range.

Absolutely horrible call

That was the second tripping call of the game. I have no doubt that Belichick alerted the refs to watch for tripping and they were happy to do his bidding.

The only times i've ever seen tripping called is when it is out in space and a clear attempt to trip a guy. If you are going to call a trip on interior linemen like that then you can call that like 20 times per game.

If i'm Jerruh, I instruct my video crew to make a film of all plays this season exactly like that from the Pats and put it on YouTube.
