Just because... Realistically, even with how we played yesterday, we have the ability to beat most of the teams on our schedule. The toughest part of the schedule is over. Not saying we’re capable of running the table but...

If they beat the Bengals I'll have a tiny bit of optimism, that is a big if.

I'm thinking we squeak out 5 wins. Without Ben covering his ***, I don't think Tomlin can keep his streak alive.
I wish I had some optimism, but we just got 5 turnovers. And lost.

we are only 2 games out of 1st place in the division. we settle down we win.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mason week in and week out here and seeeing what he brings. Hopefully, the coaches put together a game plan that gives him and the rest of the team a chance to actually win. The game plan for the SF game was embarrassingly horrible. Our OC should be embarrassed. Tomling should be embarrassed that he signed off on it. The Rooney's should be....well embarrassed also.

This team could easily be 2-1 as they are 0-3. If a few plays would have swung our way, we could have won both games.

More than a few bright spots on D. The entire D needs to pull it together, though.

The O is a complete cluster ****. The O line sucks. The play calling sucks. We lost our franchise QB, who really wasn't in sync yet (due mostly to lack of preseason playing time once again) when he got injured. Not sure I have anything good to say on O other than I think Johnson will be a legit No. 2 by the end of the year and Washington might be right there with him. That is, if the coaches let them play, learn how to call plays and quit running into 8 man fronts.

Still not sure about Washington I think he still has separation issues...

Tomlin lead teams are notorious for slow starts. I'm opportunistic that as the season progresses the STEELERS pick up speed. This next game will be tell tale as to how they are progressing and I'm thinking a maw is in store for us. The D will be good enough and the O will rise up from last week.

Salute the nation

Bengals, Rats and Chargers before our bye.
to salvage the season and push that trade with Miami down lower, we need to go into the bye on a win streak.

IMO, if we let Rudolph play and not put reins on him (see what I did there), he may progress better. Limiting his playcalling based on what we see from the sidelines or in the box isn't going to help anything. We spent a high draft pick on him and marginalizing the playbook to a handful of plays isnt what we need.

Instead, we need to go old school. Bring in the Power-I with a fullback. Rotate Conner with Samuels and Snell. Since Vance is hurt, we can still roll with 3 WRs. Which may open up the passing game. If the OL can get a push forward off the snap for run plays, we'll be better off. Can't be turnstiles up front with everyone trying to get to the safety, letting the DLs and LBs blow past.

Defensively, if we can maintain the same intensity that we showed against the 9ers, we'll be doing better than we did in previous years.

I believe Minkah will make us a better team, overall. Not sure how we're going to put him, Edmunds and Davis on the field at the same time unless it means putting Edmunds closer to the LOS. But, having too many pieces can be a good thing.

We're moving up the waiver wire!

Effective today, the NFL’s waiver claim order will be reflective of 2019 records, not 2018. It now stands at the top as:

T-1. Broncos (0-3)
T-1. Redskins (0-3)
3. Jets (0-3)
T-4. Bengals (0-3)
T-4. Dolphins (0-3)
T-4. Steelers (0-3)
7. Cardinals (0-2-1)

Hmmm?

That’s something we don’t see often..

Feels dirty...

Steelers open as 4 pt favorites on MNF

I'm not just being a downer. The truth is, I can't see this team beating anybody except maybe the Phins. And honestly, I'm not even sure about that.

Yesterday the ONLY reason they were in the game at all is because TWICE they found themselves at +4 in the turnover department.

The Seahawks game was closer in the score than that game actually was. Truthfully, there was no point, literally NO point in the game on Sunday where I thought the Steelers could win. Even when they were ahead with 6:00 to go, I never even entertained the thought that they might hold on to win. The 9rs were moving the ball too easily.

We're 2 games out with 13 to play and the Ravens still have to play in Seattle, in LA "Rams", in Buffalo, and in Pittsburgh. Plus the Ravens have 2 tough home games with the Patriots and 49ers. If Rudolph continues to progress we have a chance. The key is the head to head matchups with Baltimore.

Two things im optimistic about: first, I think we can still get to the playoffs if we can get the run game going. This will make things much easier on Rudolph. If we don't make the playoffs, hopefully its bye bye cool shades. Secondly, we should know for sure whether or not Rudolph is the future at the QB position.

After watching Baltimore and Lamar Jackson this weekend I’m pretty sure they can’t handle that offense or defense and they probably can’t even handle Cleveland right now. I’m seeing a 2-5 start coming and that’s if they can beat Cinci.
