Opinions on my hour long twitter debate with John Steigerwald,

Not down playing Ben at all he is a great QB but not as good as Bradshaw when all the factors are considered. Bradshaw was a winner Ben has won 3 playoff games in 10 years with loaded rosters.

2 of them against back up qbs. Steelers should have lost two of them. Bens last sb playoff run he wasn’t very good. . He won one and been to another playing terribly

Put Ben on the 1970 Steelers and he never sees the field. Winning championships is how QBS are rated I could give a **** about regular season stats and other stuff that has nothing to do with winning.Marion was a great passer but not a winner nor not a big game QB. Bradshaw is the beater QB and no way in he'll Ben makes the 3 throws in the Super Bowl Bradshaw made. Ben has one great Super Bowl throw and it was not a do or die situation. We were in easy FG range to tie the game.

Good thing being benched is not a disqualified for being a great QB or we would have 4 less Lombardi trophies.

What throws couldn't Ben make?

Let me know when the 70's defense gave up 45 points at home to a ****** offense, or allowed a QB the caliber of Tebow to throw for 331 yards and 3 TD's on 10 completions?
How about in Denver no AB(Burfict), no Bell, Ben throws for 300+yards has a 95 QB rating on the road vs the best defense in the NFL, the defense that shut Brady down the following week and embarrassed Newton in the Super Bowl. We are winning, 10 minutes to go we are easily in FG range moving towards expanding the lead when Touissant fumbles. When did Bradshaw ever play behind a Oline like Ben did in the Super Bowls 43 and 45? Or a defense as bad as they were post Super Bowl 45.
The wildcard loss to Baltimore after the 2014 season, he was 31 of 45 for 334 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's, but one INT when right through Ben Tates hands right to Suggs, and the last was late in the 4th on a desperation deep throw to AB.
Again not sure why the need to bash Ben to hype up Bradshaw. Bradshaw had a rating of like 44 in 76 without Franco or Rocky @ Oakland, then the following season a rating of 40 in a playoff loss to Denver with that 70's team at it's prime, so it happened to Terry too.

3 playoff wins in 10 years 2 against backup QBS and one a gift by Birthdefect. Sorry Ben has done less with more.

the 70s Bradshaw beat great teams that would have been dynasties without the Steelers. The Bengals Brown's and Oilers were all tough teams and were winning teams unlike the 4 freebies Ben has gotten each year against the Browns and Bengals. Both were great but Bradshaw was much better. you keep trying to pump up Ben by citing Bradshaws stats which occurred in a much tougher NFL that penalized the offense while Ben has plated his entire career in the pass friendly era. Even with this Ben has never been considered a top 5 QB while Bradshaw was considered the best QB in the NFL. Tired of this discussion 4 always will beat 2 especially when 4 never lost and 4 never was awful to mediocre in any of them unlike Ben.

Ben never makes the incredible TD pass to Swannwhile being knocked unconscious by Leary Cole and you could give Ben a bucket of balls and he never completes the back to back thrones to win Super Bow X1V.

There was no Free Agency then, so once a team got good, they weren't ripped apart and stayed good for awhile. What does the opposing QB have to do with it, he wasn't playing 1 v 1 vs those QB's, if anything that's a bash on the defense for letting **** QB's score all over them.

so Terrell Davis better than Barry Sanders? James White better than Eric Dickerson?
Joe Flacco better than Dan Marino? Trent Dilfer better than Jim Kelly?

No not pumping up anyone stats, just pointing out Bradshaw had some ****** post season games too, you keep bringing up 3 wins since 2010, just posting that obviously those losses weren't just Ben played very well vs elite defenses in two of those losses.

4 freebies? The Browns from 74-82 were 59-70, they won 4 games in 74 and 3 gams in 75, 6 games in 77, they weren't that good. Bengals were 69-62 from 74-82, including a stretch in 78, 79 ,80 where they won 14 games in 3 seasons. Houston was 71-60 over that same time, hardly world beaters anywhere in that division.

Ravens have been a top AFC team for almost 20 seasons now the Steelers have had in their division. So the ****** division doesn't really hold water.

The teams Ben has had this past 10 years have had some SERIOUS holes. This argument is just flat out dumb.
