At times, Proctor is flat-footed and struggles with the speed rush. He is good taking on power rush, but in space his tendency is to stand still and wait for the defender to initiate contact. Proctor will be good inside and I think he is going to be a good guard in the NFL. But Garrett, Hendrickson, Crosby will own him if he plays LT.

Is he a good player, possibly even a very good guard? Yes. However, teams can get very good guards in the 2nd or 3rd round.

How about moving him to RT if he cant handle the speed? Fautanu can go back to LT. What possible starting LT will be there at 1.21 ?

Moving Fautanu to LT is a real possibility but I think Proctor is going to struggle playing in space. He would be a darn good G but at tackle, he is going to struggle with speed rush and grab/hold a bunch. As we know, the only team not allowed to grab pass rushers is the Steelers.

The LT's likely available at 21 are Blake Miller (Clemson) and Max Iheanachor (Arizona State). The pool falls off drastically after that. If the Steelers don't get a LT at 21, they are looking at guys like Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern), a tall, athletic tackle but a guy who has unusually short arms for somebody who is 6'8".

A guy with every physical tool imaginable is Dametrious Crownover (Texas A&M), but he has one problem - he is terrible at blocking. Terrible. In a game against Keyron Crawford (Auburn), a decent prospect but probably a 4th round guy, Crownover flat-out whiffed at least three times. He would be a huge project but wow, the clay to work with is substantial.

I respect your list, but there is no way that the Steelers are going to use all of their picks and draft 12 players. They will package them, and hopefully end up with a nice move up somewhere in the 2027 draft. Or this one.

I saw Proctor in person in the spring of 2024, and I could not believe the size and athleticism he had as a freshman. He's only 20 years old even now...he can learn how to deal with speed rushers as he develops in the NFL. The guy has all the tools. And, if that doesn't happen, you still have an all-pro guard for the next ten years.

A very low-risk high-reward pick if he's still there at 21, in my opinion.

i tend to do just the "fast" draft and reject trades. i slowed it down for this one.

that would give us in 2027: two first round picks and two second round picks
 
Well, if we could get those two 2027 picks, I’d be pretty happy especially with your first three picks. I’d immediately pivot to WR instead of Crownover.

Sarratt and Lance were the next two best WRs available.
Could have had Sarratt and Isaiah World, I guess.

I'd definitely trade down for that, or just get BPA at another position, Safety, Guard, WR
 
Mendoza not going to the draft is busch. I get it, his Mom has physical issues but the Raiders have to be angry about it and the NFL.......whooo.

bit different. i'd expect the Giants 1st to be higher than the Lions next season while Indy and Denver's 2nd may be similar.
missed on a decent LB in this one, but al else is good.

I'm taking Jones' injury into account for this mock. Miller is one of the top tackles in the draft.

2.53 Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana
I think he is a little under the radar and will develop into a good pro.

3.76 Treydan Stukes, DB, Arizona
Good size and great speed, just an older prospect. NCB or S ability.

3.85 Kage Casey, OL, Boise State
Played tackle, could shift into guard. If nothing else, versatile backup early and competes for LG spot.

3.99 Dontay Corleone, IDL, Cincinnati
A run stopper for the middle of the defense.

4.121 Harold Perkins Jr., LB, LSU
A once highly-touted prospect, not sure where he fits, but just trying to maximize his potential.

4.135 Will Lee III, CB, Texas A&M
I've seen him ranked much higher. Gladly take a chance to get a good CB prospect.

5.161 Cole Payton, QB, NDSU
Developmental QB.

6.216 Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor
Doubling down on WR and I read he has return abilities.

7.224 Roman Hemby, RB, Indiana
RB who is a capable receiver.

7.230 Tanner Koziol, TE, Houston
Developmental TE who can compete for TE3.

7.237 Vincent Anthony, EDGE, Duke
Always like to take at least one pass rusher each draft.
 
It's kinda like the Steelers have 9 picks; the 3 7th rounders are not gonna make the team and are really just first in line UDFAs as camp bodies
