For the love of all things good DO NOT SLEEP on denver... they may have a losing record but they are not a bad team.

They came within a touchdown in both of their matchups with the chiefs... they lost to the Rams by a field goal, they just knocked off the Chargers, and they will be playing for their football playoff lives at home this week... every game from here on out has unique pitfalls, but this is the easiest one to outright overlook

In Denver, I don't think there is a pitfall. That is always a tough game, no matter how good we are or bad they are. It's a tough atmosphere.

Thanks to Denver for beating San Diego. If the season ended today, we would have a BYE week and a home playoff game.

Why would they sleep on Denver? It's a place the Steelers rarely win and it doesn't matter how good the Broncos are. 5-12-1 all time @Denver, 5-1 against the Steel since 2010 and 5-0 at home. Believe me, they're aware of this, but it IS nice that for the first time in a while, they'll have their (relative) health. Beating J-ville was huge for there psyche (IMO), can it continue to another house of horrors?

The Chargers gave the game away with horrific clock management with like 1:52 to go, Denver has no time outs and Rivers basically spikes the ball on 3rd down and they dont run 40 seconds off the clock. They punt and the rest is history as their defense cant stop Case Keenum from moving them right down the field as they dont defend the middle of the field.and he hits two big pass plays.

Denver is only an easy 700 mile drive from Vegas, currently looking at tickets and weather. I cant do the cold especially after attending the Jax playoff game this past January.

The Chargers would be the 5 seed FYI. KC is the #1 seed and leads that division. The Chargers even if they had won yesterday would have been behind us in the conference standings.

Yep, just like in 07, we were 9-7 and hosted the 12-4 Jags in the playoffs because we won our division and the Jags didn't.

True. We want all of the top AFC teams to lose. NE, SD, KC. I'd rather see SD self destruct and another team with a lesser offense take their playoff spot.

With snatch face Rivers as their QB, I can assure you they will fall apart as they usually do. We need to stay one ahead of NE as the tie breaker likely will not apply with our half game tie advantage as it currently stands.

Look at the teams the chargers have beat so far..

Browns
Bills
49ers
Titans by 1pt
Raiders
Seahawks(best win)
Raiders

That’s a lot of terrible teams

Denver / SD / and yes even KC don't scare this STEELERS team. We are a whole lot different and better than KC when we first played them to now as opposed to their ability when we first played until now. (We've improved a lot more than they've improved). AS for the cheater's...... Well let say our OC changes things up and out DC adds a little spice, easy win as we are a hell of a lot more talented than they are. Mr.Popple's love machine (t*mmyb*y), is going to get broken in that game.

Salute the nation

WE can really only afford to lose 1 more game this season...so, I'm sure the team is aware that they cannot take ANY game lightly.

I’m not ascared!
Case Keenum is not gonna beat us.
Chargers lost it ,they didn’t win it

the chargers left the door open for them instead of slamming it shut...but Case did take them from his own 13 to withing easy field goal range with no timeouts left...with a couple of really well placed passes.

hell I picked the chargers in my suicide league so I was rooting against that comeback....

Denver just won their superbowl. They will not be the same team this week. Plus SD's D is average at best.

FYI, we have the #6 D in the league!

If all winnable games are won they will be in playoffs. That includes Donkeys. Nothing can be gleaned from Jags game. They play a style no one else plays. Offense double TE except for 7 or more on third where they got sacked or pressured virtually every play. On defense they plaster man you and their front four and dime back tackle the **** of of anything. Not many have a secondary to do what they did. But the Steelers did show resilience.

I mean if we want the bye we probably have to lose no more than two, but if we win next week we would virtually have to lose out to miss the playoffs
Depends on the two. One would have to be a win over NE. That might get them to a total of 5 loses but I doubt it. Cant see KC getting 5 losses. Houston and Indy will probably prevent each other from getting 12 wins.

I hope whoever covers Sanders does a good job. I hate to see him beat us.
