OMFG....Our receiving corps this season could be one of the Greatest of All-Time!

I watched this pre-season game tonight and I can't help but get excited about the potential of this receiving corp.

Holy Hell man.....I know it's early but these WR corp is going to be a nightmare for any DC.

Antonio Brown - Hope he is 100% this season.....**** that Madden Curse!
Juju Smith Schuster - Looks to be ready to improve on a great rookie season!
James Washington - Seeing this kid high point the football tonight was impressive.....he is going really create mis-match problems for opposing defenses.
Damoun Patterson - OK I have no idea who this kid even is but that adjustment he made on Dobbs **** toss into the endzone on a ball that was thrown behind him was something I expect from a veteran WR like Antonio Brown. The fact that he made that adjustment on a ball thrown like that was INCREDIBLE for his first real NFL action! I'm excited to see more of this kid!

Vance McDonald - I hope he can stay healthy as he's a great run blocker
Jessie James, James Conner, Justin Hunter, DHB

I didn't think our Offense could have more weapons than we did last season and loosing Bryant I was worried but these young kids are really playing great!
 
It's exciting to think about.
But let's not get too excited over one pre-season game.

But yes! It's gonna be a fun season for the Black & Gold.

Or black & (shade of yellow) for the youngsters

But at least one of those wont make the team so some special teamer has a slot.....
 
No idea who Patterson is either, but I was very impressed with him tonight.
 
I've been saying it all offseason. This is the best group of hands catchers, top to bottom, that we have ever had. It's going to be a real tough decision on keeping 6, and we are going to cut WRs that will get rostered elsewhere. Patterson is position flexible, best as an X or Y, and has wiggle and burst to go with his excellent body control and hand placement. Last night, I'd say he just took the #6 spot from Tucker, and may push DHB off the roster, depending on their depth configurations.

No rush to call up Eli. Currently Patterson and Tucker show me more upside, and I worry about his productivity so soon after rehab from a new knee. I stash him on the PUP to start the season, in case someone gets injured, or we lose a promising young WR trying to stash them on the PS.

Initially I had Patterson and Quadree as possible roster darkhorses/ PS material.
 
Having this level of depth at a key position is a great way to start the season. For one game in, it sure looks promising.
 
Patterson can play special teams as well. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he pushes DHB since DHB doesn’t contribute as a WR. Patterson clearly has a spark there

Seeing some players make plays and go for the ball with a catch was refreshing preseason or not. Still some very good catches.

Pops is that you..........Do you remember how lame his argument was............. He was a cheatriot* fan and couldn't accept failure of cheating legacy. He mascaraed as a STEELERS fan but many here, including me, saw right through his schtick,
