OK Put me in the NFL is fixed camp

The referees are playing too large of a role in the outcome of games for it NOT to be fixed. Plus, you have to see the storyline that will make the most money for the Super Bowl. Just a few off the top of my head...

1. the patriots in all of their red, white, blue after 9/11
2. The saints winning after Katrina
3. Bettis retiring in his home town
4. Lewis retiring a winner

Give me some good college football over this ****** NFL product any day. The only NFL event that I'm interested in is the draft. God bless college football.

I don’t know. If Dee Ford knows where to line up, the Chefs are headed to the SB. I mean, it wasn’t close. He was like a foot into the neutral zone.

Back in the 70’s when they played tackle football that would be incidental contact. I’ve played tougher games of “smear the queer” than what they call football today.

As for Bettis, how did they know 2004 wouldn't be his last season? And the refs sure did try to screw the Steelers in Indy in the playoffs.

If there was a story line for after 9-11, I'd think the Giants(also red white and blue) or the Jets being in the Super Bowl would've been a much bigger deal than NE, who decided to start stealing teams signals and video taping walk throughs.

College football is rigged before the game starts with the polls and committee

The rules have been over-complicated to the point that any call a ref makes can be "justified within the context of the rule." A ref could literally call a catch "good" and justify it or he could call it incomplete and justify it with the SAME catch rules and his interpretation of them.

I didn't watch either of the games, (haven't watched a single playoff down this year and feeling no sadness whatsoever over that.) but if that overwhelmingly blatant interference call lead directly to the Saints not being able to run out the clock on the game, the Saints deserve WAY more than an apology. They deserve to have the league overturn the outcome and send the Rams packin'.

I mean that's "riot in the stadium" worthy right there. That simply CANNOT be a missed call. If it is then the entire officiating crew from top to bottom should be deemed utterly incompetent and made to return their entire season checks. If they can miss THAT, they certainly aren't professional referees.

As for the cheats... What have they been to 4 straight superbowls now? Is there even a point to having a regular season anymore? I mean seriously, why even bother. You KNOW the cheats are going to be in the SB at the end of the season. And if you are an AFC fan who cares whether or not your team may actually get to the SB, why would you even bother watching the NFL? There is 0 chance the cheats won't be representing the AFC again. And again and again and.. well apparently again.

It's not sports. It's entertainment. Pretty much full on WWE at this point. Somebody ought to hit Rivera with a chair.

How the hell does Reid not call timeout and correct that. Is no one paying attention to these guys?

I mean at this point, what are the odds the P*ts DON'T go to the SB next year? Like 1-115?

If a guy were a betting man he'd put a benjamin on the P*ts NOT making the SB and he ought to pull down some huge money if they actually fail.

As I said in the game thread, I've come to a similar conclusion that this is kabuki theatre, WWE, etc. The Cheats get calls and no-calls way beyond average. I'm just trying to figure out how Kraft got the advantage - pictures? bribes?

It is rigged. One prime example is the lack of Cheatriots penalties year in and year out. They have so many fewer penalties each year than any other team. It is statistically impossible for this to happen each and every year. Someone on here had a thread about this a year or two ago.

Finally, someone who gets it. Crappy officiating across the league games are what keeps the "manipulation" hidden. Also know that the "fix" and "UN-fixed" are a fine balance to keep YOU off balance on this topic. Way to much money to keep it "best team wins" games.

Salute the nation

Deep pockets can buy you a ref or two. And then you have the illegal picks, the holds, the signal stealing.

That team does everything to gain a edge.

At least with Brees and Kamara and their offense they had a shot to stay with NE.

The other way around, the Rams defense won the game, stopped the #1 offense and league favorite in Brees, shut down their running game too.

I think Rams have best chance to put pressure on Brady with their DL and beat them.

The Rams were inline for a bogus trip to the SB ever since they bailed on st louis and moved to LA.

The saints had a 13-0 lead in the game. Wait, that was all part of the plan to throw us off, wasnt it?? A-ha!!!

And, when they were about to put the game away literally the most egregious non-call in modern football history occurred, keeping the Rams in the game.

Riveting Television!

Oh FFS, BOTH championship games go into OT and u whiny ******* are STILL complaining about football?

Go watch soccer and wear your diapers, in case something doesnt go your way

Everything proves a conspiracy. If the Saints win then it's because the NFL wanted a Brady vs. Brees SB. If Geoff and Mahomes win then it's because the NFL wants a "Young guns" SB.

I couldn't believe my ears when Gene Seratore started laying out the ground work for the muffed punt overturn.

There was absolutely no, zero, nada, conclusive visual evidence to overturn that play. None. It did not exist.

Yet here was the former league official ( Who are now stationed in every broadcast booth) starting to make the case for the overturn.

Even the village idiot Jim Nantz brought up conclusive visual evidence and he stumped Gene.

And then the call was on the field was overturned returning the ball to New England and lending credence to that internet meme Al Riveron Replay Review Flow chart that always benefits NE.
